Ti Laura is a good restaurant with great service, well-located and offering very good food. The cheese bread is a favorite attraction, although the price is a bit high. They serve the best Niquita in Madeira and one of the best ponchas around. The restaurant has a simple but cozy atmosphere with a nice bar, friendly staff, and a large selection of very good wines. It is also a good place for tapas and wine, offering a variety of red and white wines, cheese and sausage boards. The top floor is more relaxed and recommended for a comfortable visit. Although the decor and comfort could be updated, the place remains a great spot to enjoy authentic Portuguese food, with abundant portions and a local atmosphere that doesn't feel touristy. Sometimes small lizards visit outside tables near the glass wall, adding a quirky charm. Overall, Ti Laura is highly recommended for those seeking delicious food, good drinks, and a friendly environment.
