The food was very average, we had to wait a long time for the waiter to notice us. Then we didn't receive one of the dishes we ordered (it was forgotten). Vegetarian options only include bread with cheese and lettuce - I do not recommend it for vegetarians. It is difficult to communicate with the staff in English. Low prices.

Really great, very authentic Portuguese food option. There are lots of drinks and delicious food on offer, you won't find a menu in English, but the price-performance ratio is great and the food tastes really good. Great atmosphere, still feels very local and not like a tourist spot. Went there three times on vacation because we liked it so much. Gladly again!

Nice hidden place near Caniço, with abundant portions. In a couple of the outside tables close to the glass wall some small lizards may visit you to pick your food, just be careful.

If you want to spend a cozy evening in a nice atmosphere with small snacks, good wine and / or delicious beer, Ti Laura in Canico is the right choice.
It is not a restaurant with a lavish selection, but rather a cozy “pub” with snacks and a good selection of drinks. But that's exactly what we were looking for and expecting during our visit.
There was a small snack platter to accompany the bottle of wine. We also ordered the bread with cheese filling (the inside is taken out of the bread and replaced with cheese and then everything goes back into the oven) - very tasty.
We found the atmosphere really cozy. But the question here is what you expect. As I said: we didn't expect a star restaurant, but a cozy pub with snacks and great service. And we were not disappointed.
And in our opinion the price/performance was absolutely top!
