Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff! Food with good flavors, except the broken eggs, however, (Mini)Octopus was tasteless and dry and the Entrecote was just bones!! Whoever makes purchases at this restaurant should pay more attention to the product they buy (tasteless mini octopuses, spare rib bones and eggs M, should be at least L)

We were advised at A Traineira (Caniço de Baixo) and we are completely satisfied. The bolo do caco at the beginning fresh from the wood-fired oven together with our traditional Poncha was divine. Then the picanha accompanied by 2 risottos (onion, beans and chorizo) was the highlight. We ordered it rare to our liking and it arrived that way. Then, at the end, the mousse clearly made in-house with hazelnuts on top was perfect, not to mention the always attentive service. I highly recommend it!

We were in Madeira for 11 days and had to go twice because it was just so great. The waitress is a kind-hearted lady who you can tell how much fun she has at her job. On both visits the food was ready after a short time and tasted great. The prices are unbeatably good for German standards. We would love to come back and recommend the restaurant to everyone!

We absolutely loved the restaurant! From the starters to the main course to the dessert, the food left nothing to be desired. The meat was very tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. The portions are quite large and the price is completely reasonable. The service was great and the homemade poncha made from freshly squeezed oranges and lemons rounded off the evening. We would eat here again in a heartbeat.
