We had to wait for a table but that is reasonable as we were a big group. Service was slow. Portions were OK, but two servings of fries was not even good enough for one.
There was no menu for children, so we had to ask for an adult portion and share between our 2 kids, and this is "OK". But then we were charged for an extra plate... I don't get this when there's no children's menu.

We didn't get to eat, so we just evaluated the service.
We called the restaurant at around 7:15 pm for a reservation as there were 6 of us. They promptly said that it was not possible to make a reservation and that it was on a first-come, first-served basis and that it would be impossible to predict whether or not we would have a table.
We decided to test our luck and 30 minutes later we arrived at the restaurant, where the first question they asked us was if we had a reservation...
After saying that they accepted reservations but couldn't accept them for that day (something they could have said over the phone) they said that perhaps they could seat us in 30 minutes, when they had an empty terrace.
Be careful, having tables available may sometimes mean nothing, but there are much nicer ways of dealing with customers.
Like several people who were equally unwelcome, we left the place and went to dinner elsewhere!

We were waiting for a table for a long time and there were lots of empty tables.
We went with children and they charged €2.5 per extra dish.
There are no fish dishes and almost everything is sold out.
Additionally, the potato bowl is for 2 people.

Although the food is very good, especially the Madeiran espetada, any good gastronomic experience is completely ruined by the arrogance, lack of education and dishonesty of the owner. This was the place chosen to celebrate a birthday where there were 10 people. The employee immediately started trying to sell 5 doses of kebab to the 10 people and when we only asked for 4 he seemed slightly reticent, perhaps because he knew what was coming next. During the meal there was nothing to point out, the four doses were more than enough. However, the problem arose when, at the time of payment, we were faced with a charge of 5 euros for "2 extra dishes". When we asked the origin of those 5 euros, the owner immediately got excited, refusing to explain the reason for this extra charge. As customers we tried to understand the extra dishes and all we were told was that they did it to avoid people sharing dishes, taking up space and time. The 5 euros are charged to justify "plates, napkins and cutlery used by people who, instead of ordering a dose for themselves, share doses with others", in other words, the owner thought we had to order 1 dose for every 2 people. This is completely unacceptable since neither the owner nor any restaurant employee should dictate what the customer wants to eat. If this wasn't enough, the owner was extremely rude to us when paying, not accepting to answer any questions. "I don't have the patience for this" was the last sentence he said before we were forced to ask for the complaints book.

Bad experience in a restaurant that has a lot of potential.

As a regular customer of the space, my last experience left a lot to be desired, to the point that I didn't want to go back! It was a normal work day and I went there for lunch with a colleague (the restaurant wasn't busier than usual). They found a table in no time, but when it came time to order the meal, the service was slower than usual. After several attempts to place the order, we were received with contempt and lack of politeness by both the service employee and the manager, to the point that we got up and left the place. I don't think it's normal that there is no advance notice when the service is taking a long time, much less that they treat customers with "wait for your turn".

A sardine dish came with 3 sardines! One of them ground. I paid 10 euros for this dish. It is an incomprehensible exploitation and even shamelessness. It was the first and last time. I found out that in a nearby restaurant they served 7 sardines on the tile with everything included for 10 euros.

Excellent place to eat...the food is very good, the service is excellent...you can indicate that you are gluten intolerant and the staff will be dedicated to ensuring that nothing is contaminated with gluten...that gives you a very relaxed moment to enjoy if excellent meal

We went for dinner at this place on 28 May 2024 at 20:30; we were greed and served by Nunu and his team! Excellent service. We ordered the 500g steak from Uruguay and were really good!
Atmosphere is great and pleasant! Plenty of parking available.

We were 3 adults and two children aged 14 and 8. We ordered 3 dishes, 3 soups and a starter, which seemed enough for the 5 of us. Influenced by the waiter who suggested it was not enough, we ordered one more dish and he, intentionally or not, thought it was two more. I complained and we settled for four dishes and the rest. When paying, I was surprised that the empty plate we ordered for my 8-year-old daughter was charged €2.5. I thought it was ridiculous and questioned the manager who promptly replied that for 9 years they have been charging for empty plates when doses are shared. I didn't comment and promised myself never to go back. Pitfalls aside, the service is bad, the food is terrible and the attitude took away my appetite.
