Good food, reasonable waiting time, experienced service. The facilities are a bit old and it's a shame about the smoke and the smell of coal that accumulates in the restaurant (very low ceiling).

The service is polite, the elderly waiter is extremely attentive and helpful. True, he confused fish and meat for us, but afterwards he was sincerely worried! But the wine recommendation was right on target!

Best meal I’ve had on my trip to Lisbon.
If you have time for a 10 minute trip across the water to Porto Brandão from Belem (€6 for 2 people). Then this is a must visit. Beautiful view and the staff were amazing.
We had the Carvoada de Mare Viva, which was platter of steak and prawns which you cook on a charcoal grill.
