A spectacular place, from the outside it looks like a very simple bar, but the food is very delicious. We ordered soup of the day €2.5, sao jorge cheese €4 (cured cheese), cod €19 and roasted octopus €20 (spectacular), the best octopus we have ever tried. Overall a very good place
If you go to Ponta Delgada, you must go to this place. The hospitality is 10/10. Its a Father and son who are working the restaurant and they went out of our way- literally left the restaurant just to go out and get us a pack of playing cards. The seafood was absolutely amazing- full selection of local fish. You have to try the octopus cataplana. I also went back and tried the “hunk of meat” which was amazing- Served with fresh passion fruit at the side. The Quantity at this...
Uninviting entrance and a good location is unlikely. You have to come in and ask questions.
High quality service, friendliness and good humor (a rare thing these days)
Excellent quality food, particularly the peixāo fish and the sirloin steak. Very nice homemade desserts.
