We were here in Capelas 10 days. On the fifth day we discovered this inconspicuous restaurant. We haven't eaten something so good and cheap for a long time.
No matter whether it's meat, fish or pizza, it's easy to put in. Don't let the visuals fool you, the food is awesome, the service is super friendly and the price is unbeatable

The place is frequented by locals so you can't go wrong. We had beef steak and pork loin, both where very good. The portions are huge, and the service is excellent. If you are here rest assured that you won't be disappointed.

I found this gem after 7 days in Azores so I have a point of reference. Beat food so far. It’s a small, family business, not fancy but the food is heavenly. A true local culinary experience. We had tuna steak, redfish and sangria.
Everything was absolutely delicious. Very good price. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

The food is not what you order. The frozen potatoes and the steak I can't tell what part of the beef it was. You cannot pay with a card. Only go if you are very hungry. Better not go.

I ordered lombo de porco and they served me pork that was not loin, it was fatty and hard, I think it was loin head. If you ask for water they give you a mini bottle.

This is a typical Portuguese restaurant for laidback yet tasty traditional food, and it is great at it.It’s quite convenient that at least a couple of the waiters speak English, as a Portuguese myself I noticed how helpful it was for a couple sitting next to me.The staff is friendly, the costumers are mostly locals and the place is easy to find.If you want to avoid tourist traps, this is the place to go if you’re nearby.Great prices and an impressive value for money (both portions and food)
