“Fantastic restaurant with regional cuisine and sea views in the northwest of the island of Faial. The food was excellent (swordfish and amberjack, both grilled) and the dessert (passion fruit pudding) was a small sensation. The service is very friendly and helpful - you even get a small booklet with the types of fish served in the restaurant. If you can't manage the generous portions, you get packaging so you can take the rest home with you. There is also a small grocery store directly in the restaurant where you can buy bread, vegetables and everyday items.“

“(Translated by Google) The space is normal for a snack bar, although outside the view is magnificent. The pizzas are very tasty, large in size and at low prices (taking into account the prices charged on the islands in 2023). It's worth the detour.(Original)O espaço é normal para snack bar, embora no exterior a vista seja magnífica. As pizzas são muito saborosas, de grande dimensão e preços baixos (tendo em conta os preços praticados nas ilhas em 2023). Vale a pena o desvio.“

“Best meal we had in ilha do Faial. The alheira a bras is one of the best I ever had. The octopus was tender and, delicious. My parter was feeling sick otherwise he would have finished his dish. Generous portions and good value for money. Must try when in Faial.“
“We stumbled upon this place early on a Sunday morning when nothing else was open in Horta except Cafe Porto Pim (looks meh so we came back here). It’s listed as a bakery so we didn’t see it as a food option on Trip Advisor, but I would totally go back here! The women running it were hustling super hard. Very busy with locals buying baked goods. But they had essentially big breakfast burgers with beef patty, egg, bacon, cheese and bbq sauce in the best bun ever. And fresh squeezed orange juice made immediately just for you as you order it - so good!! And a lovely patio area on the cobblestone street to eat at with cute little birds to throw bread for.“
“Nach einigem Suchen nach einer offenen Gaststätte, sind wir im Ponta Furada gelandet. Es war Nebensaison (im Oktober). Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und dachten schon, wo sind wir hier gelandet. Am Ende waren wir sehr zufrieden mit dem Service, der Qualität der Speisen (Fleischgerichte) und dem Preis. Wir werden dort bestimmt nochmal essen.“

“Definitely recommend the restaurant. Friendly service. nice dining room, terrace with sea view, good price-performance ratio. Bicuda grelhada (fish) with salad and potatoes for 15€, grilled pork skewer with fries, rice and salad for 16€. There is even a cappuccino for €1.20“
