We stayed here twice and rented their beach chairs at 20 euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Both times we ate lunch here. The food is good and prices OK. They have good salads and Petiscoes. Service is good no the food came quickly. We can certainly recommend it.

The best restaurant in Carcavelos beach where I often go. You should try the black beans. It is fantastic! As for the meat, there are days the picanha is better grilled than other days. So it depends on the cook of the day. The staff is very friendly.

I come here a lot when I am in Lisbon, I enjoy the vibe and location right on the beach. The pork bifana sandwich here has always been great, hot fresh and great bread. the caiprioska is also good, can be difficulty waving down staff but I can deal with it. I think the €5 fee for the shade should be looked at on a minimum spend fee basis, especially if you are there for half the day.

Lovely meal with masses of prawns, lovely pepper steak. Right on the seafront with ocean views and space to watch the world stroll past. Lovely, attentive, helpful staff.

The waiter dropped the menu on the table and disappeared. Neither him or anybody else showed up to take my order for 20 minutes. Guys, what do you expect? - of course I left again, there's plenty of choices at the beach. So no need to eat somewhere, where I didn't feel welcome. I'd recommend Casa de Praia for example where the service is quick and friendly.

I came here because it was the only place open on Sunday evening while I was out for a walk. My intention was to have a glass of wine & a light bite. No glasses of wine available only ridiculously overpriced bottles absolutely not in alignment with the quality of the establishment. Every dish was very expensive with an extra “nighttime” charge… unbelievable considering I was seated outside & at this time of year it was pitch black & freezing cold… I was visibly shivering & not offered a blanket or a seat inside. I got a green salad… it sure was a green salad, some leaves with 4 slivers of onion. The cured cheese & a glass of whiskey. Upon ordering I told the waiter I wanted to pay immediately… he assured me this was no problem… even asked “cash or card?” but then I was forced to wait over an hour & needed to ask multiple more times for the bill, despite being done with my snack in 15 minutes. Very incompetent staff.
