If I had only one night in Olhao, this is where I would eat. And I ❤️ food... Authentic tapas served with love.
Great as always, the host is a super friendly lady and loves to help with a wine tasting even if you are just purchasing a glass. There is also a small food range of some tapas and the charcuterie I highly recommend
Great choice of tapas, what we chose was delicious - grilled prawns, cod fish cakes, steak, salad, chips. Quirky interior, very friendly
There is lovely feel about the place, the team are welcoming and friendly. My wife is a big wine fan, as am I, but occasionally I do like a draught beer and whilst I know it’s speciality is wine, it would be better if they had it as an option. The only downside is it’s location in as much as it’s right on the pavement of a busy side road and when cars on occasion do a turn in the road you’re face to face with exhaust fumes which obviously isn’t the restaurant’s fault but isn’t great. Would still recommend but would sit inside next time.
Food was very tasty and the wine recommended by the waiter wasdelicious.. Next time we'll order half of the dishes and then the other half to avoid all the dishes coming together, but the steak with pepper sauce and the sautéed prawns were fab .. Definitely recommend
A warm welcome every time. Glorious selection of wines and fabulous tapas food. Music is brilliant too - could happily sit here all evening, every evening. Huge thank you for Maria for being perfect host.
They did do some things right. The Steak with pepper sauce, baby squid, and the goats cheese were good. Many people also commented on the Pork cheeks. Wine was good, although many wines on the wine were not on the list. The service was disjointed as well, which I can forgive. However, what I find shocking is a restaurant that is 150m from a fresh fish market, and is in a fishing town yet cannot do a fresh tuna tataki or tuna tartar. The tuna was warm and tired, and the tartar was salty and a fine mince of not very fresh tuna. Moreover the fish freezer outside was not working and the fish from the previous day was still in it.
Ate here twice and its honestly out of this world. A real gem, authentic and the most delicious tapas. Service was incredible the staff are so friendly. 52 euros for a bottle of wine, 5 tapas and bread and olives.... incredible value. Highly recommended
A must-visit place if you love local seafood. The grilled gamba’s, the cognac “flambé” shrimps, fried cuttlefish, and so many more tapas are finger-licking delicious. The service was at times a bit “funky”, but that only added to the charm… we loved the food and the setting ?
I’m 64 and have travelled the world and that was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Lovely staff and top notch food.

Utterly faultless. The food is up there with Amy Michelin place. The chef is incredible. The staff are courtesy and kind. Book it!
First visit last night, great food at very reasonable prices. Owner came and spoke to us a very friendly and well run place highly recommended.
Very good food, service and great interior thank you Sandro and Wiebke for taking me here I will definitely come back !!!!
We had lunch here and had an excellent selection of tapas. The fried king fish (like whitebait) was really good. Very good prices. Their ‘sister’ wine bar, Wine Time, on the same street is also worth a visit. Have to mention our server, Ines, who was absolutely charming with a great sense of humour. She’s a great asset to the place.
wide and quiet terrace good service. good food.
