I have been a customer of Restaurante Pastorinha for over 25 years and have always appreciated the quality of the services and food offered. However, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the experience I had on my last visit, on July 20, 2024 During this visit, I was disappointed in several aspects: 1. Food Quality: • The thorn shrimp wasn't as tasty as usual, I alerted one of the waiters and he replied that in the past the shrimp they served was from the coast and now it's from Espinho so I'm noticing the difference because this one is sweeter • The fresh cheese didn't seem really fresh. • The ham served was flavorless and did not have the quality that I normally find in a restaurant. • I also noticed the absence of the thin toast with butter that used to be served with the ham. The turbot fish wasn't at its best either.
2. Service: • The waiters were talking very loudly to the customers, which affected the atmosphere of the restaurant. 3. Facilities: • The ladies' bathroom had an unpleasant smell. • The hand drying paper waste bin was overflowing and there was no hand drying paper available.
These issues are concerning, especially considering the restaurant's long history of quality. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that these observations can be resolved to maintain the high standard that has always kept me returning to this establishment.
I thank you for your attention and I hope that my observations are taken into consideration. I am confident that these issues will be addressed appropriately and I hope to return soon for a more pleasant experience.

The only pleasant thing about the experience was the space and the landscape and the friendliness of the lady who opened the door for us. The fish parrillada was far below expectations. The fish is overcooked (burnt), tiny pieces and nothing as listed. Therefore, there is no intention of selling it by the kg. The fish soup was disgraceful, they clearly added water and curry powder. I even have a hard time calling it soup. Indescribable! The ordered wine, after an incomprehensible wait, the waiter came to justify not serving it. The justification was so pointless that we kept it to laugh at throughout our lives. The service is nothing professional. Waiters who are too helpful, who, wanting to be close, address customers as "oh friend", speaking too loudly, in an environment that is pretentiously selective. There are children running around, coming after the waiter to other tables to order... With all this... We didn't risk dessert. Suddenly we just wanted to get out of there. Coffee and bill. At this stage, the salamaleques are finished! (every minute someone came to serve us wine and interrupt the conversation...) Anyway... not to be repeated. Same!!! We went to a festival in S. João, the day before, and we didn't eat sardines!
Amazing food. Freshly prepared right in front of the dining area. A vast selection of wine and other local spirits. A great ocean view. Friendly staff.
