We recently arrived to live at Quinta de São Gonçalo and were very well received by Zé and Cristina along with the other members of the team, especially Jorge. The food is delicious and the customer service is excellent. Everyone has made us feel very welcome and friends of the house. You can eat in the restaurant or order takeout.

Despite the friendliness of the lady who served us, just one person to serve the entire interior room makes the service somewhat slow. As far as the food is concerned, the starters were quite acceptable however the main dish, cod, did not correspond in the slightest.

Good food but horrible service!I had already been to Zé's spot for the first time and was served by this gentleman with a big belly who had turned out to be unhelpful and impatient.This time we went to have a few beers and eat some snails and we were once again served by this Mr.He left us with the menu for about 20 minutes before he came back to take the order, ignoring the times we tried to call him at the table. I was about to give up asking.When he finally came to the table to receive the order, he responded with irony and sarcasm to our request for a recommendation about one of the appetizers. He always had an arrogant attitude, never looking at any of us when we spoke to him.In the end I asked him where to make the payment, again ignoring me with his back turned.Definitely not going back to Zé's spot! I left there in a bad mood after so much abuse.There are a variety of places where the food is equally good but where the service captivates us and leads us to return due to its friendliness and a pleasant time.
