Fantastic place! I just live down the road, i was passing by and decided to try it. Owner is very professional and friendly, the food was delicious, Portuguese steak, home made fries and soup of the day. I also had rice and beans with coriander and onions. Home cooking!! They also give you bread And croquetas on arrival.
Generous food, made with care and taste!
I will be back soon

Good and kind service. Otherwise, I don't understand how this restaurant can have such a high rating. In general, I think restaurants in Portugal are always of high quality, with fresh raw materials. But here it was a terrible experience: very salty soup, tasteless picanha (and I don't think it was South American picanha as it was written). Unfortunately the food is not as good as the reviews.
UPDATE: after both of us (me and my girlfriend) were feeling sick all night, I went back and exchanged it for 1 star. The food was spoiled

My family went there on a Saturday. It was a great dining experience, the best restaurant in Portugal for us. It's a small place, but it makes up for its lively atmosphere and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly, working around our lack of Portuguese and brought us dishes that they recommended. They chose well as our table fell silent for the first few minutes after getting the food to the table. We were all so focused on how good the food was that even the two kids, were unable to speak for a bit. The owner chatted with us afterward and was super friendly. Highly recommended. We will go there again before we leave Portugal.

Great as a restaurant! Recommended for tourists. We are very well received and can try typical Portuguese dishes. Very good prices for what we ate!

I visited today for the first time, I was in a hurry and just wanted to eat something quick, like a slice of bread. The owner said they didn't serve pregos, but he would make me a quick steak. I accessed it with suspicion but it was actually very quick. The meat was of excellent quality, perfect doneness. The fries and bean rice are impeccable. Fast and friendly service. There really isn't anything like the northern-style restaurants. The prices are not “tasca”, but they are affordable and fair as the products are of quality. I really liked it and I will definitely come back

A very welcoming space, very friendly staff.I chose cheeks with puree and it was divine...The meat was tender and juicy, well seasoned with a rich, comforting flavor. The puree was creamy and was the perfect bed for the meat.
