Restaurants must be taken seriously and with HONESTY... They arrive at the table and don't know what they are bringing... I realized that the bitoque and steak with 3 pepper sauce are the same... The sauce arrived later and that is what makes the steak 3 peppers, therefore they are prepared exactly the same way, so choose the bitoque, the sauce is not worth the price difference.
The worst part was when the bill came, 8 extra snacks + 2 goat cheeses + 1 olives were added to the bill... None of this was eaten and the 8 snacks didn't even come to the table... Lack of seriousness, attention and it was the doubt was whether it was to see "what happened"...
While the meat isn't bad, but it's also not incredible, the "error" in the bill leaves me with no doubt that I'll never set foot there again!!

The servers were some of the hardest working people and incredibly kind and helpful. They were fast, efficient, and really tried their best. They address you by your name and care a lot.
It was Extraordinary service. We had to wait 30 minutes, because there was a line, but they were going as fast as they could and really tried for a fast table turn around.
The appetizers were very yummy and helped us be patient waiting for food.

A truly satiating and enjoyable experience!
From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and attentive. We were offered a menu but the waiter offered us a ‘tour of the menu’ as he much preferred to talk us through the options rather than interpret the menu ourselves. He took us to the chiller and showed us the variety of options and explained their origins and how the food would be prepared. His recommendations based on the group versus portion sizes meant we all had opportunity to try an array of dishes.
The waiter told us the portions weren’t small and he wasn’t mistaken! Normally I would pay a good amount for a single fillet mignon, this dish had four of them, all cooked to perfection!!! The staff were keen for us to enjoy a good meal and experience a true taste of Portugal.
The restaurant is small but quaint and has a real homely atmosphere. I felt this was a large family meal rather than being a customer at a restaurant!
This was evenings meal made my stomach full, my wallet surprised (averaging €25 for so much food was a shock) and most of all it made my heart happy.
Well done to the Taverna D’s Pereiras team, an exceptional experience that I will be returning soon to enjoy again.
