We ate here this evening and went based on reviews. The food was absolutely awful - we waited quite a while before the food came - our kids had pizza which was uneditable. We had the peri peri chicken which is pretty difficult to get wrong. The chips were cold and the chicken was dry. We have 5 cokes with our meal and as we waited the waiter asked us if we wanted bread - out of sheer boredom from the wait we ordered it - €10 - altogether the total meal was €85 without wine - I was overpriced and the food was absolutely terrible - I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone ☹️

The restaurant is ok. The food is nothing special and you can get much better at other restaurants in the area. It is really simply prepared and tastes accordingly. But the dishes are large. However, you can tell that ready-made sauces are used in the dishes, which completely drags down the taste of the foodThe lady in service is nice and does her job very well.The ambience isn't the nicest, but it's generally okay.All in all, I would only recommend the restaurant for those who are fans of extremely simple food with ready-made sauce. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is not right at all!!!

Old-established restaurant in Carvoeiro. Nice, good and not too expensive. However, the portions are a bit too huge and therefore good for two people to share!
We live here and A Rede is our regular place to enjoy good food and friendly service. Everyone, and especially the chef are pros! Food neither service have never let us down.

Please bestel nooit een pizza bij deze tent ! En nooit een kan sangria ! Voor de rest geen idee kwa eten maar dit was echt een stuk beton wat we amper door konden snijden .. sangria 28 euro was nog geen 5 euro waard.. er zitten goede alternatieven in deze buurt bv tegen over het hotel echt super lekker en niet duur .. wel een 10 voor de komische aankleding en sfeer .. kunst gras met Sky banken met zes verschillende lampen je vraagt je af of je in een slechte film beland bent ??? loop langs lach en ga ergens anders eten.. top bediening op 1 saggie oude man na ?

Ordered Piri Piri chicken. Got served what felt like scrapes from the carcas of last nights dinner service. Wasn’t Piri Piri at all until you added hot sauce to give it taste (what chicken you could salvage). Service was unfriendly and abrupt. We were handed an iPad for our bill and he then walked away, wondering if were supposed to pay on it?? Or start taking pictures?? Better food at the intermarche with cheaper prices.

Good restaurant, the food (for us swordfish and salmon tagliatelle) was excellent! Service also great! The only thing that isn't optimal is the ambience, due to the colorful lighting and the direct proximity to the street, but it's not uncomfortable either. Would definitely come back!
