“What a find!! We have been coming to Carvoeiro for over 14 years and this has to be our best find. Andre is a superb host, attentive to the needs of his guests interacting well with the whole family. All the staff team are friendly and efficient. The menu both at lunch and in the evening is limited, however it doesn't need to be anything more. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. My husband enjoyed the best steak he has ever had, and my 11 year old loved the seabass. You will not be disappointed, and we will definitely be paying future visits!!“

“BEST PIZZA EVER! I came here 3 times for the week I stayed in Carvoeiro. Tried 3 different items as well, all tastes like heaven! Would come back just for the pizza. The one thing I love the most is the adjustable spicy level, I love spicy, and chef can adjust different spicy levels!“

There's a lovely garden to sit outside, street next to it a bit busy bit not too much. Inside area is atmospherically a bit poor but with a nice view to the kitchen.“

We went for lunch and had a most delicious veal strips salad (there was limited choice for coeliacs). Returned for dinner as the salad was good but discovered that the salad was only on the lunch menu. Edgar, the charming waiter, spoke to the chef who made me the salad again as a special request. Can recommend the local green wine too“

“We went for a long walk one day and on the way back saw the A board outside saying Vegan pizza so had to walk back in the evening to try one. It was very busy and we hadn’t booked but they managed to fit us two in thankfully. We just had a basic vegan pizza covered in delicious tomato sauce and various vegetables. One of the young ladies gave us a choice of what we wanted and then went and took the dough, kneeded it next to the large pizza oven before covering it….so it was all very fresh and cooked to perfection. It would be better to book as there is not a lot of room inside! We enjoyed our visit and would go again but it was very noisy! Thank you for letting us have a table on a busy evening.“

“Very tasty Tapas restaurant with a great view over the busy beachfront area. The staff were very accommodating for a last minute booking, all of the dishes we tried were excellent, plenty in the portion sizes. Unfortunately we ate late and couldn't order a main dish as the kitchen was closing but we could still choose from any of the tapas and we were not rushed out when finishing our Sangria. Couldn't fault the staff on anything, great atmosphere would definitely recommend. Make sure to make a reservation for an evening meal.“

“We stopped in for a night cap because it looked so lovely & the cocktails were fabulous & good price...€8 each! Much better & cheaper than the Skybar on beach front. It's alot classier & refined than most of the other restaurants in the town. With beautiful interior & some very nice chilled live music. Fabio (the owner) is a great man & we had a great conversation. We wanted to come back for dinner on Sunday but they were closed on Sundays. The menu & food looked excellent though. We'll just save it for next time we come. Perfect for great cocktails & chilled vibes in a beautiful setting & I'm sure the food is great too. The service was absolutely phenomenal – the best we have had since we’ve been here! They were especially attentive to our kiddos. We hope to return soon and wish them nothing but the best! “We walk-in to this restaurant and surprisingly they have seats for us. It was busy at the moment (nearly 8pm) but the staff was welcoming and friendly. From covert to dessert, the services and foods were great. Thank you for having us a wondering dinner and evening.

Kid-friendliness: They offer kid menu for three options , not just boring chicken nuggets w/frites. My child had a plate of small beef steak w/ vegetables and rice. It’s tasty.“

“We were recommended to this local restaurant, popular for its traditional cooking. The decor was very simple and the staff were amazing with us as we don’t speak any Portuguese. My wife and I shared a dish of Cataplana de Frango and it was exceptional. Washed down with a bottle of Terra Franca Rose wine (recommended by the host) we had a most enjoyable meal….and the cost was kept under €50 for the pair of us! That’s value for money. You can park opposite on the sidewalk or in the side street.The ambience is simple, with dark wood and orange colored curtains, a bit dated.But the appearance is clean and well maintained.The service was very attentive and quick. It should also be mentioned that the memory card is clean, tidy and well maintained.The menu is varied, pasta, pizza, various meat dishes and fish.Everything is prepared quickly and very well. Tasty and hot. “This was our first visit to Primavera and we were impressed. The location is very nice and there is inside and outside seating. I would recommend a reservation as this restaurant is popular. Service was good and the pasta dishes were excellent. I had the gluten free mixed seafood pasta. There are many gluten free options. Highly recommend.“

“Buffet restaurant with a wide variety of food. A varied and abundant starter table where cheese reigns?, with plenty of pasta, cold salads, pizzas, savory snacks, etc. On the hot table the variety continues. We had at our disposal Portuguese stew, suckling pig, cod with cream, duck rice, oven-baked chicken, grilled dishes, etc. To conclude this meal, we enter the sweets and fruit table where the party of choices continues. All this accompanied with juices, wine and water. As it was a Sunday there was live music, discreet enough not to disturb the meal. Even with a full house, the service provided by Andreia was good. Very accommodating to my daughter who has sensory issues with food and changed her spaghetti dish to be as plain as could be and she loved it, the rest of my family gobbled up the food! Would recommend to all! Looks pricey at a glance but portion sizes are very generous!“

“Beautiful and relaxing ambiance to eat.
Food were good, could be improved tho.
The grill sole fish can be grilled slightly longer so we can get crispy skin, and the veggie that comes with it was totally bland. They brought olive oil, but the veggie needs seasoning.

Service wise also could be improved.
They are friendly, and you can see the differences between experienced waiter or who just shall working.
When the starter arrives they don’t bring new cutlery so we need to cut the shrimp with butter knife ?
I was asking for napkin, and he gave me wet tissue (normally for after eating). My meals got french fries, but they didn’t give any mayonnaise, need to ask until they bring it

I can see they are understaffed.
I just hope they put more attention to the food and train the staff abit.

“When we got there the employees didn't seem to be very happy with our presence, in fact when we arrived the kitchen was still closed but they gave us the option of staying and drinking something while we waited.
After lunch, they became more friendly.
The food is very good
And the service turned out to be good too.
We ordered the mixed fish which was wonderful and the shrimp curry which was also 5 stars“
