The restaurant is lovely and the Antonia is excellent. Been coming here since a couple of years. Being a vegetarian she adapted some of the typical Portuguese dishes and they were really tasty. This year we had the chance to experience Show Cooking - which was a very different experience. She was cooking just for us in front of our table. The best part she also shared some of our favourite recipes. Definitely a restaurant to go to if you visit Carvoeiro. See you next time Antonia.

We visited this restaurant on three occasions while on holiday in Carvoeiro, excellent hospitality, Antonia and staff were so warm and friendly, the food was excellent all home cooked, we had the vegetarian pie one night, pasta another night, the desserts were absolutely delicious, orange tiramisu was my favourite, but they were all nice! The Sangria was good, we would definitely recommend eating here - we sat outside on two occasions and it was getting a bit cooler in the evenings in October we were given warm blankets to put around us which was lovely, the restaurant was very popular, Go on give it a try!
To start a “large” bottle of water is 700ml there, which yes is bigger than your standard 500, however not 3 euro bigger, everything in this restaurant is hyper inflated by tourism which isnt all their fault. However almost 17 euro for chicken kebab which was pathetically small with a small side of rice and probaby half a small carrot chopped upon the side. More of a ‘snack’ portion than a main… location is great but thats about it for greatness. Service was wobbly, may just be culture but came with the attitude like she couldn’t be bothered with tourists, although for their location you’d think they’d be used to it by now, chicken tased quite dry and absolutely carried by the sauce which was the nicest thing on the plate, also had a bit of that shared seafood bowl, fish was quite undercooked as well as the prawns leaving a funny taste behind. Quite a bit of room for improvement.

Terrible food. The cod was stringy and chewy. Could not eat.

We started with a glass of their special prosecco - it was warm and flat, a big disappointment! Food etc was OK.
Simple and friendly staff.
