This was our first visit to Primavera and we were impressed. The location is very nice and there is inside and outside seating. I would recommend a reservation as this restaurant is popular. Service was good and the pasta dishes were excellent. I had the gluten free mixed seafood pasta. There are many gluten free options. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent Italian restaurant at the top of restaurant hill. But it also does lovely steaks and a variety of fish. The golden bream was superb. It's definitely worth the slog up the hill, you won't be disappointed by the food or service

We came here as we were craving some pasta, and had seen that the menu outside advertised a vegetarian option as we are both vegetarian. We were quickly sat down despite having no reservation and the service was attentive. Strangely, it turned out that the menu outside was different to the menu we were given in the restaurant, as the option we had seen had disappeared. Nonetheless, we found another option from an, admittedly limited, vegetarian selection and were happy with this. Drinks arrived quickly and the food didn't take too long. We were a little disappointed at the portion size given the price, but the food was tasty and well presented. After opting out of dessert and coffees, the service seemed to become a bit less attentive and we had to wait quite a while to be able to get anyone's attention for the bill. Overall, this would be a great place for a nicer meal out for non-vegetarians and those looking to splash out a bit more.

As a family that have been coming to the Algarve for more years than I can remember we could never visit Carvoeiro without a visit or two to Primavera. We are always made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoy the excellent food, drink, service and atmosphere. We all love to be able to choose from the great array of fresh fish and shellfish with us ordering the tiger prawns, clams, lobster and sole - all very delicious and well presented. My son had the Fillet steak and said it was one of the best steaks he had ever had anywhere! We will definitely be back as soon as we can. Best wishes The Sexton Family

First visited this restaurant 2018 and loved every meal. Having returned recently we had high expectations and Primavera did not disappoint! Excellent food & service , ample seating both outside & indoor. Superb wine list to complement the delicious menu.

Turned up on a busy Monday night without booking. Relaxed but attentive service, with lovely menu and extensive wine list. We were just looking for a pizza but was tempted into a starter and weren't disappointed. Carpaccio of beef fantastic and prawns delightful. Pizzas were fresh and tasty, just what we were looking for. Ended up having two bottles of excellent wine as we enjoyed the whole ambience of the place. Not cheap but the quality of the food, wine and service meant we felt we got decent value. Would definitely go back as the pasta dishes looked amazing. Many thanks

I believe this was our favorite dinner out (with my husband and 23 year old daughter) while in Portugal. They have a lovely patio and had a talented musician playing his plugged in violin to contemporary tunes there. Sounds odd, but it was great. It added so much atmosphere and joy to our dining! Prices were very fair and we enjoyed the pizza, wine, and good service. And just a 6 minute pleasant walk for our Tivoli hotel.
Vegetarian options: veggie pizzas and nice big salads
Amazing food and very attentive staff, the waiter remembered my cousin from the night before , and knew exactly what wine he had. The order taken and then when the table was ready we were seated near the front. The starters were amazing , garlic prawns oh my days, to die for , all starters enjoyed to the fullest. The mains arrived, we were not rushed and the music was perfect. Steak , spot on not sauce on the steak , but in a small jug. The lamb cutlets awesome, the prawn tagliatelle amazing, the pizzas very tasty and not smothered in oil. Drinks flowed… evening a great success - thank you so much. Will come back!

This was recommended by our Taxi driver on journey to Carvoeiro and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening with good atmosphere, good food and service. We booked for 7 pm and rocked up at 6 pm for drinks before meal and they didn't mind that we were early. Musician playing guitar and singing in the background gave a great atmosphere. Staff excellent in every way and could not have wished for more.

Excellent night staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed with a good musician creating a lovely ambience. Nothing was rushed or too much trouble and we had the sea bass which was cooked to perfection. We booked for 7 and rocked up at 6 pm enjoying a cocktail beforehand and the staff were more than happy to accommodate us. A lovely evening thanks to the taxi driver who recommended this restaurant. It made our visit to Caviero so enjoyable and one of the many waiters even shook my husband's hand to wish us good night. Everything we could have wished for for a great evening out. Thank you all at Prima Verde.

Great food - plenty of choice. The choice of fish is particularly worth sampling. Lobster and sea bass were cooked to perfection - both tasted wonderful and were served and filleted at the table by an “expert”. Great variety of wine and gins. The atmosphere is chilled, with a variety of musicians to entertain. Overall, totally recommend a visit. Always popular with locals and visitors. Advisable to book a table.
