20 Canadians walk into a restaurant… No really. We reserved for twenty and they set us up in the main area complete with live music and room to dance. We had a wonderful night. My group of four had three tapas: fried cheese, tempura vegetables, and mushroom bruschetta. We ordered four entrees: the hamburger, the vegetarian burger, the truffle ravioli, and the chicken supreme. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended.

Wonderful restaurant tucked away from the centre of town. Quiet, clean, friendly. Had a delicious gluten-free fried calamari, burger and fries, jacket potatoes. Staff went put of their to ensure our safety. Celiac approved!

Delicious burgers, fantastic little chocolates and one of the few Portuguese restaurants that are dog-friendly and where dogs were allowed into the restaurant.

After having wanted to eat here for about two years, we finally went in early January 2024. Warmly welcomed right off the bat, and quickly got our drinks and menus. The ambience was great with lovely holiday decorations. A personal pet peeve of mine is restaurants with a lot of noise; it makes me uncomfortable and often leaves me with a headache. I had no such issue in Taste restaurant, despite there being quite a few guests. We ordered the couvert to start. The bread was great and the toppings even better; extremely worth it! A single serving of tempura vegetables was served afterwards, which was something none of us had tried before and we found it quite enjoyable. The day we visited Taste was ‘Steak Night’, hence why all four of us ordered the Classic steak: an Argentinian Rib-Eye. While my mom and I aren’t particularly fond of meat, it was enjoyable and well cooked. The pepper sauce complemented it well. To end it off, we ordered an apple crumble. It was a nice, sweet end to the night. However, the restaurant offered a complementary glass of port! Not all of us had space for it left, but those that did certainly enjoyed the drink. My only complaint would be that the website’s menu had not yet updated to reflect the (most likely recent) changes to the menu, which was a little bit of a disappointment as I had my eye on a certain main dish that was no longer available. Nonetheless, we had a great night and are looking forward to returning.

Highly Recommended - Excellent menu and food beautifully prepared and presented every time we have visited - Super friendly staff who are always so welcoming - A trip to Carvoeiro is not complete without a visit to this, one of our most favourite Restaurants! This restaurant is a must if you are in Carvoeiro or in the surrounding areas. We loved it so much we ate there twice in three days, lol. The owner and staff were perfect! The food is superb! Many Gluten Free items on the menu(Wife has Celiac) and a great wine selection. Cannot wait to get back to the Algarve and dine here again. Highly recommend!

First visit and the last one. Only 6 tables occupied but having to wait for more than one and a half hour for our mediocre meal to arrive without any explanation makes this a “never again” experience. 2 x hamburger. Both cooked to death. Fries good. Terra & Mar for 2. Loveless preparation, especially the fish. Amor de Cereja dessert was an absolute joke. No warm cherries, no chocolate ice cream. As there were 3 people serving the problem obviously was the kitchen staff (or the lack thereof) perhaps due to the children’s party that was on that afternoon.

Bosses exploit employees and do not pay subsidies that are mandatory by law, everything looks nice but everything is wrong on the inside, shame on their faces for not paying their rights and exploiting
