Very attentive staff, fantastic food and nice location!
There were a group of 7 of us and we had a mixed selection of starters and mains, with 3 of us having excellent steaks. All the food was top quality and cooked expertly. This is definitely a case of quality over quantity, and I’d recommend booking in to this excellent restaurant.

We were welcomed kindly and our 3 waiters were sublime! The food was on par and there was even some fish in a little basin next to where we sat (outside). I personally recommend the Wolf Burger and the waiters were so kind and hospitable. Would definitely recommend!

Where to start? Our starter of stuffed mushroom caps was enjoyed. We ordered lamb shanks, which were okay, but not great. Ribeye steak, which was supposed to be medium rare but was more rare. Chateaubriand, which was extremely disappointing. Tender but not much flavour. The bernaise sauce was lacking. The side of asparagus was 5 stalks and zero flavour. The Caesar salad was made with iceberg lettuce so not a Caesar at all. €185 for 4.

We visited this restaurant for the first time this year and the food and the service was amazing from start to finish. There was a large selection on the adult and child menu to choose from and we could choose between indoor and outdoor dining. I highly recommend if visiting

Love, love, love this restaurant! It's on the pricier side but well worth it. Staff are so helpful and friendly, food amazing (the gravy that comes with the mashed potato is heaven on a plate!)

a consistent restaurant, steak (chateaubriand) was excellent and served as ordered, the service was excellent, a few more josper potatoes would be good, but have been here a few times over the years and will be back
In Carvoeiro it is one of the best restaurants to eat a good piece of meat, and the staff are 10 stars..top i will be back

What a sweet surprise. We had been in Portugal for 2 months and the Wolf was just up the street from where we were staying. We decided to try it 2 days before going home and wish we had found it earlier. Everything about it was outstanding. I had the lamb shank and it was delicious. We also have tried the garlic and piri puri prawns all over the Algarve and there's are indeed the best. The restaurant is a must try for sure. You won't be disappointed.

Been to the Wolf a few times before, As usual lived up to expectations, Food very tasty & cooked as requested, Staff very attentive & service with a smile. If you have a sweet tooth you must try the Rolo's. Highly recommended
Parking: Take pot luck to find a space as the restaurant is situated on the main road, That said the dining experience will out weigh the parking dilemma.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps at the restaurant to allow accessibility.

We had a lovely family dinner here. The steak was, for once, slightly under done in parts I think (asked for medium), but very tasty. Good ambiance, good service, and a complimentary glass of Port at the end was a nice touch. It's a fancier restaurant than some of the more casual ones in town, so prices are a bit higher.
