I wanted a salad but not with veal strips, asked if it could be replaced with chicken, was told no, there was no flexibility, so we ordered piri piri chicken with chips and salad, didn’t get that much chicken but what there was it was nice. I had steak sandwich in a brioche bun with caramelised onion with chips, it was very tasty and the portion of chips huge, a small salad with chips would have been much nicer than half a plate of chips, not only would it be healthier it would...
The food was very tasty, the salmon was exactly on point. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, the portions are rather small for the price and you won't feel full just from the main course alone, hence only 4 stars. If the portions were a little larger, I would immediately give it 5 stars!

We went for lunch and had a most delicious veal strips salad (there was limited choice for coeliacs). Returned for dinner as the salad was good but discovered that the salad was only on the lunch menu. Edgar, the charming waiter, spoke to the chef who made me the salad again as a special request. Can recommend the local green wine too
