“Great location with heaps of other bars around. A live DJ was playing at the bar next to it& it was great vibes. Food was delicious & great margaritas. Definitely come back. One of the best places in terms of food and overall vibes we’ve eaten on ”
“I am not vegan, but I am dairy free and gluten free. This was an excellent fusion tapas restaurant to come to—there are so many options, everything is labeled with allergen markers, and the staff understand food allergies/restrictions. Staff was also super friendly. A beautiful view, as well!”
“We just spent a couple of days in Cascais and went twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Food is great, cool laidback atmosphere. Service is super friendly. Just a bit slow at the end when we wanted to pay and leave (both times we had to ask for the check multiple times). But a cool place to eat and have a drink nonetheless.”
“Vegetarian friendly. Nice to see some alternative options. Really enjoyed the malai kofta and palak paneer though all dishes could have been a bit spicier. Starters were quite small but actually for once didn’t feel over full after a curry! Great vegetarian options though not that well marked and I’m not sure a vegan would have left full.”
“The noodles & bowls are very tasty, prepared on the fly with fresh ingredients in a clean, open kitchen. The waitress is very friendly. While waiting for the food, our table was shat over by a bird which precision-spray-bombed us through the narrow gap in between the large ombrellas. The waitress immediately offered us a new table, and replaced all of our drinks with new ones! Super clean toilets also - always a good indicator! The kids loved their refreshing 'Mochi' desserts. Reasonable prices, would revisit!
Vegetarian options: Present!
Kid-friendliness: Kids allowed!
Wheelchair accessibility: Main entrance is wheelchair accessible, restrooms not.”

“Really nice place out in cascais. Service was great, prawns and fish too. The only thing (which was probably on us) was that the octopus just tasted of olive oil which took over a bit, but it also said on the menu “cooked in olive oil” so. Lovely view and great location”
“Great dinner, with clams, tuna tartar and seafood pasta. Super well attended by Anastasia, very friendly, she advised us perfectly on the food and wine. Ask for Her.”
“Nice restaurant with very pleasant team.
The moules are really Good especially the Gratinados as a starter.
As for the main dishes, it would be great if we can have a refill of moules because even if they are big moules it is not enough for someone with a great appetite.
As non-alcoholic, we didn't try the gin
Kid-friendliness: Share one plate between two kids.”

“Very knowledgeable staff that gave you confidence in what you were eating. Well run and quick service despite being very busy. We sat outside which was a bit cramped, inside there is a bit more space. We shared Tarka Dahl, mushroom rice and roti and it was delicious and full of flavour.”
“A quality restaurant. Excellent service. Product quality. A magnificent kitchen. A most pleasant atmosphere. Beautiful dining room and very nice terrace. 20 years of customers, every time we are in Cascais we eat there at least once. The price depends on what is requested. It can be very reasonable. And if the price is not the problem (it will never be exaggerated, Cascais is not Cannes) you will surely get it right.”

“I stopped by after reading reviews from Korean travelers. In general, the employees were friendly, but I ordered berry lemonade, but they kept refusing it, so I had to talk to them again to get it. That's a bit disappointing.”

Outdoor Dining
“The place is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The pasta is served… differently. You won’t get the plate with the pasta directly. The waiter will come with a different portable table on which they have the pans in which the pasta was cooked. Then they’ll put the pasta on the plate in front of you. It’s stupid, but for some reason, really enjoyable.
We really liked it and we recommend the restaurant.
If you go, make sure to order some wine, it will make everything even better.”
“I can't give it 5 stars because the service left a little to be desired, we rushed as soon as we arrived to order because they closed at 3:00 p.m. (but they accept a reservation at 2:30 p.m.)… Otherwise everything was good, good cuisine (the fish and very delicious grilled octopus) and reasonable price.”
“It is a good place to go with friends after a long day and have some beers or cider. When we went there was live music (rock style and similar). The atmosphere and decoration of the place are very good, although the place is not too big (it has two spaces: a first space at the entrance where the bar is and a second, more reserved space near the bathrooms).”
“Very friendly address, home cooking a little far from the very touristy streets, traditional home cooking.
We enjoyed the grilled sardines.
€55 for 3: large salad, 2 portions of sardines, steak with cream and mushrooms, sangria, bread. Reasonable.
Shaded terrace, very friendly service.
At the exit, you can return via the beautiful shaded park nearby.”
“Wow! Finally found this spot after searching for a non-touristy place to eat and am so happy I waited til I found it! Service is incredible, the food was delicious, the area outside is wonderful to sit, and it seems like a very authentic place. Def recommended!”
“A great sushi restaurant! Definitely one of the best sushi restaurants. Great sushi mix in the menu! The waiter did a great job and I really like the experience! My parents and I really enjoyed the sushi! One of the things that I would recommend is to add some background calm music to make a better vibe.”
“I went to the pizzeria yesterday on the recommendation of a couple of friends. We ordered takeaway. When we arrived we were treated very well, the team was friendly and they showed us the menu and how the house works. Both pizzas were great, with a good amount of toppings. I will definitely be back to eat there. I recommend!”
“A great restaurant in Cascais for inexpensive, delicious food. The fish is very delicious. The employees are friendly, the service is fast, the atmosphere is very sweet, the prices are much more affordable than other places. If you happen to be there, be sure to stop by.”
“service is amazing so friendly and polite and welcoming from the second you put your foot in the door. Drinks were made super quick and were so amazing for the hot days! Would recommend”
“Insuperable. The food exactly as
if you were in Thailand. The pad thai, 100% perfect. Everything super good. The sticky handle rice the real thing. A pleasure to have visited you.”

“We got the all you can eat menu and it was great! The fish was really fresh and absolutely delicious, they also didn’t go overboard with the rice.
The all you can eat menu was 22,90€ per person excluding drinks and desserts, which I think is a more than fair price. However, keep in mind that they charge 0,50€ for every sushi piece you ordered but didn’t eat.
Wheelchair accessibility: For my untrained eye the restaurant seems rather accessible, since there are no stairs. However, I guess if you have a bigger wheelchair it might be a bit tight since the restaurant itself is quite small.”
“We came around 14:00 for lunch and we already loved the place immediately for the cosy vibes. We ordered two pastas and they were happened to be the best ever!
The owner is so friendly, he makes everything with passion and fresh ingrediënts. Because it was our last day in Cascais we decided to come here for dinner as well. Literally every pasta or pizza is so tasty and makes your heart warm. Real soul food. A hidden gem in Cascais. ?
It is really worth going there to have good food and also to have a conversation with the owner. And also nice to know … his wife has a very cute shop with unique jewellery and clothing: “you rock” !!
Thank u for making our visit to Cascais so lovely. All the best! Davy & Rose-Anne”
“It's the 2nd time I've come here for dinner and if I had already enjoyed it the 1st time, this 2nd time made me want to come back again and again... the food is very tasty... the space is very cozy and the staff is always in a good mood. ..as for the price ratio, the food is also excellent, not to mention the location...you can eat as a couple or as a family...All this to say that I recommend it...”
“Very tasty sushi restaurant with 1A quality from A-Z, never had such fresh sushi quality. Every course was prepared to the highest standard, just like in a Michelin restaurant. By the way, the great waitress was such a loving and warm person who also spoke perfect English. It's nice that people like that exist.
Thank you very much for the lovely dinner.”
“We like to visit this place when we want to eat Ramen and don't feel like going to Lisbon (where, of course, there is more variety than in the Sintra/Cascais area). The place is small, but it is well decorated and the service is friendly. The Ramen is well prepared and in good quantity (for example, it has a good portion of slices of meat, which is not the case in some restaurants). We also liked the Gyozas! We've been there several times and we're always very satisfied.”
“The portion of the octopus was surprising, they brought two small tentacles for 18 Е, in other restaurants for such a price they bring almost a whole one, well half for sure. There are no complaints about the taste, tasty tentacles. Dorado is deliciously prepared. The wine is delicious. Homely atmosphere and fast service.”
“View and vibes were AMAZING.
Sangria and potato skins were divine.
Portuguese Steak and Grilled Octopus were quite good. The Pumpkin Fondant was to die for.
Service was a bit slow but friendly. We did not, however, enjoy being put on the spot and asked to give a good review and mention our waiter's name.
Otherwise, it was a lovely evening.”
“Very unsuspecting little place in a crowded back street. We went in for some lunch, craving some seafood and their menu seemed a bit cheaper than most around. Well were we in for a surprise! Then clams were BRILLIANT and full of flavour, much better than the extremely expensive upper class restaurants in the area and even further down the coast (in fact I would warn against any fancy restaurant in Cascais and within a 5 mile radius!). We also had the squid and prawns which came in a different sauce and the squid was beautifully tender. The decor isn’t great and we were put by a big tv screen outside but wow to the clams in particular.
So good in fact that we took our friends a couple of days later, they had the same with the addition of swordfish that was cooked perfectly, everyone was full and happy with a reasonable bill at the end of it.
The waiters were very friendly and attentive, however I did have to mark it down just one star as they put bread and olives on the table as if it were complimentary (as is the standard across Europe/UK) but you do have to pay for them so if you don’t want them, do send them back so you don’t get charged! But you will want the bread to dip in that garlic clam sauce ;)
The fish and seafood is top top notch, I can’t comment on their Asian influenced dishes. Bravo to their chef.”
“Wonderful. From the food to the service, Fátima is wonderful. I recommend the ceviche, the osso buco bao and drink a nice tequila. The DJ who comes on until 2:30am is divine”
“The fish is amazing!! It’s a little spendy, but you get what you pay for. I will be coming back many times. Wonderful people, service and they have my favorite japanese beer, Asahi. Absolutely love it!!”
Takeout Restaurants
“Been here 3 times throughout the years. It has stayed pretty much the same including the menu. You order a few dishes to share with the table, then order a few more if desired. All the dishes we tasted were good everytime.
Parking: Just park closeby on the side of the road.”
“I really liked the restaurant, the service, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the food. I want to say to the kitchen that they are nice guys, and they cook very tasty, the girls who served me were very intelligent and pleasant to talk to. I was there this morning and I'll be back here tonight, thank you very much ☺️”
“Highly recommended place, very delicious food, generous portions and very pleasant and helpful staff. There were 8 of us and they quickly arranged a couple of tables for us. They do not accept reservations, they place you in order of arrival and they do not close all day until midnight, which is a lot of fun. We will repeat”
“Great experience at Cascais Marina. Pleasant and relaxing environment. We stayed on the terrace, but the interior appears to be very cozy. We ordered 3 starters which were delicious and just right. For main we ordered 2 burgers and a sirloin steak. Despite the size of the nail, I was surprised by its satiety capacity. It was very juicy. We intend to return.”
“It continues to be the restaurant that does not disappoint!
There are meals for all tastes, for me it's the seafood and fresh fish that attracts me most to this place.
The staff are very attentive and friendly
The organization is well known, it has a competent manager at the top (which is where I always stay)
I recommend Cascais Fish Bay ??”
“Very warm welcome by a waiter wishing to share Portuguese culture with us, hearty dishes and good value for money
However very fast service, too fast perhaps with the slight impression by the waiters of having to hurry to free the table, knowing that we were alone on the terrace so I don't know why this pressure!
However, the setting remains pleasant and you will eat well there all the same :)”
“We came for dinner twice in this restaurant as we were very well served and their grilled fishes were great.
The restaurant is a bit away from all those tourist trap restaurants which is great! It is located nearby Praia da Ribeira, after the Police station.
Very peaceful area, we highly recommand a visit!
Thank you to the staff and cooks!”
“This place is indeed the House of Wonders. From the colourful decoration to the menu on display and the rooftop views, being there is a wonderful experience. I had the happiness salad veganised and it was flavourful, colourful and wonderful.”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“It’s great food and coffee and friendly staff but the meal was ruined by the amount of screaming crying children, running around and screaming. they should really make a family seating section rather than having kids just run around. there was a lot of adults trying to enjoy a nice quiet breakfast, but the atmosphere was ruined by the kids.”
“It's a Burger King on a corner, very airy and open to the street, which creates a pleasant atmosphere - this is the special quality of this space.
It is a fast food chain, and the food meets customer expectations when it comes to this type of restaurant.
Vegetarian options: Practically all burgers served have a vegetarian version”
“Wow! Finally found this spot after searching for a non-touristy place to eat and am so happy I waited til I found it! Service is incredible, the food was delicious, the area outside is wonderful to sit, and it seems like a very authentic place. Def recommended!”
“The fish cataplana is impressive as is the rice with seafood. We had a white wine that the waiter recommended and it was spectacular. Super recommended. It's a pleasure to dine in a place like this because of its good product and good price.”
“Wow!! We stopped into this place after a long drive to Cascais. Not knowing what to expect we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The Beautiful ambiance and views makes for a beautiful dinning experience. A little on the pricier side but the food and service is on the higher end on the scale. I had the bacalao with potatoes and my husband had the fried filet of sole. Both portions were very good size and the filet of sole came with tomato rice and salad. We also had the vegetable soup which was delicious. Be ware they set your table with a bunch of apps that you didn’t order and even if you just taste it you’ll be charged. Once we got to our table the table was set with olives, bread cheese and some minced rabbit dish, We asked what it was and sent it back because no one in our party ate rabbit. The cheese alone was 23euros so make sure you want it before you start your meal. The view is beautiful and its a wonderful way to have lunch or dinner.”

“Very nice place if you can sit at the front of the wall and watch the waves. The café and food were delicious and the people who work there were also very nice. Great background music, live on the radio station. Definitely a better alternative than the surrounding cafes or fancy restaurants in the ”
“Great place for a bite and a drink by the beach, walking distance to boca de inferno. Friendly staff, different pastries and dishes available along with ice cream, drinks, even some souvenirs. Unfortunately no toilets available even if you consume something from them. And by being by the beach there’s no much options around..”
“Decent beer, great staff, good music..... didn't try the food.
All the punters were friendly and a laugh ,but you generally find that with people that like rock, metal, and indie.
Watched a few different sports on the TV, as customers requested.... lot's of nationalities friendly and fun.
Maybe it needs a few extra beer choices to nudge it from 4- a 5.
3 lagers ,1 really sweet cider and a selection of bottles.... Still, All hail the Bock ?”

“My boyfriend and I wanted good sushi to celebrate our one year anniversary and good sushi we got!The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home. The fish was decidedly fresh and I was very happy with the quality (the hot rolls are particularly fantastic, you won't want to miss out on these). And the decor was hand painted by one of the owners - how cool!!10/10 would recommend and I look forward to coming back.”
“As for the coffee itself, I like it. The worst thing is certain old people, who, having nothing to do, spend their lives in the cafe, and then an old woman who is the worst gets involved in people's conversations, the first time she messed with me, she took it with her. Everything, I hate this type of attitude towards me. Those who look for it always find it. We're sorry I don't mess with anyone, I even pay so I don't get upset but when they come to my side they always take the answer.”
“Coffee where the locals coffee! So cheap, lovely coffee and nice wee pastry selection. Don't expect fireworks but the server was polite and we love sitting having a coffee in the morning watching the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life coming in and out. And this place is perfect for that.”
“Being French I am very picky about food but even more so about service. The waiter Nuno is at the level of semi-gastronomic restaurants, very attentive, speaks several languages, and makes no order mistake. The food is certainly simple, but the meat is cooked as requested, the food is not cold and the seasoning is always on point. What more could you ask for, the tables are clean, the prices are the lowest in Cascais and I have been there several times at different times and the dishes arrive in less than 10 minutes.”
“We had a great experience at the restaurant! Everything was good, from starter to dessert. Great service, the taste of the food is memorable and all the wines on the menu are very well chosen!”
“Great after dinner stop for gelato. They have a great selection and the gelato is delicious. It wasn't too crowded on a week night. There are plenty of places to sit inside or out.
Kid-friendliness: Very kind friendly with gelato and crepes!”
“The burger was delicious, the service was top notch, the waiters were attentive to everything. I ordered some jalapeno peppers which I highly recommend, the beer was very cold, with so much heat it was appreciated. I recommend it 100”

“Seems most of the guests here only swing by to grab a drink.
We did the opposite and ordered a lot of food instead!
Staff is friendly, but if was sometimes hard to communicate with the young waiter. We wanted the sauce on the side for our kids steak. Instead, it was drowned in sauce.
The shrimp skewer was not that special. And the veal slices were a bit chewy.
But other than that. Everything was really good!
My favorites: Carpaccio, steak, foie gras and 21 ceviche”

“Our expectations were exceeded by this awesome restaurant. It was the best meal we had in two weeks of Spain and Portugal. We dared to go back two days later to see if we tried other items would it continue to impress and again it did. Beautiful presentation, creative flavors and service was excellent. Don't miss out on this wonderful experience. Steak was most tender and flavorful and fish was delicious.”

“A beautiful place to go to eat in Cascais. The prices are a little high for what it is (Nachos+Guacamole= €8, + Pico de gallo about €4 more).
In any case, we ate quite well and they have very curious things on the menu such as, for example, cacti, flowers...

“I was about to give 5 stars, which is extremely rare for me.
The food and wine selection were terrific, the service was good and we also sat very nicely (outside).
However, the bread was really not good and there was no dip with it. In addition, the sanitary facilities were not good. But the wine selection and the food (apart from the bread) were top.”
“It is very well located, diagonal to the train station, it has a good atmosphere with tables also outside to continue admiring the beautiful city of Cascais and the burgers are always good. There were many people, it is ideal to go with children.”
“Food of above average creative quality, unique wine pairing. Exceptional service, very attentive to details and creating an unforgettable gastronomic experience.
