The service was terrible: it took more than an hour to serve us and there were 3 tables. Bad food: frozen food, bagged potatoes. You cannot pay by card, it is very expensive for the quality they provide.

I am from the table of 8 that Gema criticized in the previous review. We ate wonderfully, the service was great, coming from a very nice older lady, who treated us with humor and hospitality. It is true that she does not have much space and space is limited, so I recommend booking in advance. The food is spectacular and made to order on the grill. 100% recommended.

The good reviews made us come here to eat, unfortunately the lady (quite rude) did not want to serve us. He had a table of 8 and said that, with that table, he could no longer serve.

Traditional restaurant, a bit in its own right, run by an old couple.
Simple, homemade and delicious cuisine, mainly grilled meats (fish, meat) over a wood fire. Very pleasant atmosphere on the summer terrace in the shade of the vines. Please note, only takes cash and you should not be in a hurry.

Excellent food, well presented. Just away from all the bustle and foot traffic with all the atmosphere. Highly recommend

Old traditional place, is ruled by an elder couple. Do not expect service being super fas, expect it being super tasty!
A swordfish steak is my personal recommendation.

This is the place to eat here, the "food" street is very busy and packed while round the corner is this absolute gem of a place quiet and situated under grape vines. The elderly couple who run it are fantastic and very friendly. Everything is cooked over coals in the front garden and the food was far greater than the sum of its parts as Portuguese food can be but not always. It is cash only so be aware of that but believe me it'll be some of the best food you have in Cascais.

Excellent spot, feels like your grandma cooking a mad fish for you in her backyard. Shaded with grapevines, excellent fresh seafood, 10/10 hospitality. DO VISIT!

Excellent, original Portuguese food. Very friendly older couple who even lend a hand to the stove. Rustic but delicious, especially the fish dishes. It couldn't be fresher.
