Very unsuspecting little place in a crowded back street. We went in for some lunch, craving some seafood and their menu seemed a bit cheaper than most around. Well were we in for a surprise! Then clams were BRILLIANT and full of flavour, much better than the extremely expensive upper class restaurants in the area and even further down the coast (in fact I would warn against any fancy restaurant in Cascais and within a 5 mile radius!). We also had the squid and prawns which came in a different sauce and the squid was beautifully tender. The decor isn’t great and we were put by a big tv screen outside but wow to the clams in particular.
So good in fact that we took our friends a couple of days later, they had the same with the addition of swordfish that was cooked perfectly, everyone was full and happy with a reasonable bill at the end of it.
The waiters were very friendly and attentive, however I did have to mark it down just one star as they put bread and olives on the table as if it were complimentary (as is the standard across Europe/UK) but you do have to pay for them so if you don’t want them, do send them back so you don’t get charged! But you will want the bread to dip in that garlic clam sauce ;)
The fish and seafood is top top notch, I can’t comment on their Asian influenced dishes. Bravo to their chef.

Good, but not great. Still, I’m happy to find a Persian restaurant in Cascais! The stews and appetizers are the way to go. I found the koobedeh skewers undercooked and not very good. The dougeh yogurt drink not very good either. The gormashabzih stew, ghemeh and tadich delicious.
Hopefully the skewers will get better in time.

Should have packed a sandwich. The steak was tough and poorly prepared. A terrible waste of resources. Who boils a steak? This beef was by waiter recommendation, which I find disappointing. Octopus and beer were fine.
Overpriced except for daily lunch menu.

Friendly and helpful staff that helped us to pick the correct dish. The food was delicious and it was very quiet although you are 30 meters from a very crowded street. A hidden pearl!

Very nice place. The service was impeccable. Much hospitality was shown by the owners and staff. It has an attractive decor. The manufacturing is of high quality. Both the Grilled fish and the Lamb shank with broad bean rice were wonderful. In the end I was amazed by the Baklava that was made by the owner, simply divine!!!! I highly recommend it.

I went to this restaurant with my partner on May 25, 2024 for dinner.
The restaurant was practically empty on a Saturday night, however we went in and sat down.
I ordered a simple bitoque and my companion ordered some black pork and two gins.
We didn't have to wait long to be served. As soon as I took the first bite of my steak, it tasted horrible and sour. The meat was SPOILED and unfit for consumption. When I complained, they told me if I wanted picanha and that this would be the meat of the day. In my observation, I really thought they tried to “get rid of” the rotten meat they had to see if it “sticks”, but they had little luck. 2.10 for a coffee… a place not to return to, the “Tourist trap”. I don't recommend it at all... an experience not to be repeated and this place should be inspected by a competent authority.

Tourist trap! I ordered a swordfish and I got a sea bass. These two are very different. Do they think that all tourists are stupid?

This place knocks it out of the park. Our family is Iranian and had been searching for delicious Persian food on our stay in Portugal. This was such a surprise, and it was the best meal we had on our whole vacation. 10/10, what a treat to have found this place. Takes like home.

Well located place, quiet street, we ate Persian cuisine, ordered typical dishes and being from a family of Iranian origin I would say it was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in Portugal, food very well presented, good portions, excellent service, without a doubt it's worth a lot worth it!

Very good place to eat in Cascais. The flavor of the picanha is spectacular, and the service is very friendly and respectful. The price is very appropriate compared to the quality of the food.

We had the grilled cod fish and the octopus rice stew. The cod was mostly tasteless and drenched in oil. I’ve had this type of dish before and I know the quality. The octopus stew used too much tomato paste and was very salty. I was disappointed that the waiter recommended the cod as it was poorly done.
