There are meals for all tastes, for me it's the seafood and fresh fish that attracts me most to this place.
The staff are very attentive and friendly
The organization is well known, it has a competent manager at the top (which is where I always stay)

To eat a seafood platter at a reasonable price it is a great place. It has a lot of work volume and yet it is not noticeable in the service. Their fish dishes are very good both in price and preparation. They have online reservations and their staff is very attentive and helpful.

I came to this restaurant 6 years ago. There were white cloth tablecloths and the waiters were very classy. We had eaten the best cataplana of my life.
Today I went back hoping to rediscover the good memories... what a disappointment. The room was transformed into a canteen, with paper placemats. The very classy waiters have been replaced by an armada of Brazilians and the cataplana thickened with cornstarch or others, with New Zealand mussels (those large mussels with green reflections).
We waited a lead to get the bill and another lead to be able to pay.
In short, if the owner of this establishment reads this message, I would like to tell him that in Portugal we have excellent mussels and excellent servers. You don't need to go abroad to get them. You're going straight into the wall.
But what happened?
I will never set foot there again.

The two youngsters that works in the "reception" looked tired and uninterested.

Luckily, staff inside the restaurant was friendly and attentive.

We ordered some oysters and scallops as starters. Oysters were fresh and meaty.

Scallops were a letdown. Small and dry.

Our main course, the cataplana for 2 for 80 Euro was amazing!
Everything was made to perfection, and it tasted so good!

Highly recommended!

We arrived a little bit before 18.00, so the restaurant was empty. It's always packed around 20.00.

So, today August 4th and after having booked and getting confirmation of a table for 6 people, we arrived at reception and were told that our reservation had been cancelled, the reason, "We needed the table" My question ? And they don't warn you? "We don't have the habit"...
These people learned nothing from the pandemic....

And a complaint will be made. I make a reservation 2 weeks in advance for 4:30 pm today. I live 50 minutes from the restaurant, and during the trip they call me just a few minutes from the reservation. I arrived at the place and was told that there was no water, so we had to wait until 6pm. I spent diesel, paid for parking, and still waited an hour and a half. It arrived at 6pm, I went to the restaurant and with all the agility of indifference, I still had to wait for them to tell me that I had to wait longer until they had a service order, with the manager or whatever, not even being able to get there. to me and regret the situation, he just sent a message to the receptionist while I was there listening, and giving orders for another employee to call other customers to reschedule.

We had a very good dinner here yesterday, our first evening in Portugal. I had booked a table for 19, and we got to choose the one we wanted. All types of fish, mussels, crayfood and octopus were perfectly fresh and well prepared.

Waitress got the order of the wrong table to us. Pulp was the worst we ever had. Made us almost puke. After eating this pulp we don’t even want to have any more pulp. We are traumatized.

Steak isn't great, that being said they are not known for their steak instead their fish but on the night we went there was a problem in the kitchen which significantly reduced the selection of fish available. Generous portions when it came to the fish we got
