“We just spent a couple of days in Cascais and went twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Food is great, cool laidback atmosphere. Service is super friendly. Just a bit slow at the end when we wanted to pay and leave (both times we had to ask for the check multiple times). But a cool place to eat and have a drink nonetheless.“

“Above expectations: tasty food, cool atmosphere sitting at the tables in the street and very gentle snd caring staff.
Had dinner for 2. We were welcomed with some slices of bread accompanied by persil and garlic butter. We shared and enjoyed all we ordered: stuffed shrimps with tomato snd garlic base, grilled squid (served with white rice) and polpo a la gallega. All was amazing, but we “had to” take a second time the shrimps, so to enjoy more shrimp and use the tomato and garlic soup as a top for the rice we got with the squid. The rice topped with the tasty soup turned into an unexpected and delicious course.
We finally took a lemon mousse topped with crumbled biscuits: a fresh and delicious way to end the dinner. Highly recommended to go, and suggested to book a table says in advance.“
“Monday, August 28, 2023 - We had three people in our party. Our server was Nadja who always had a smile. She understood and spoke English which made ordering easier. She took the time to explain some of the food and drinks. I hope everyone has this server - she is the best. We all ordered pizza with a variety of drinks. Wonderful dinner.“
“We stumbled upon this place after looking for a sea-view bar for a chilled wine and snacks. We were not disappointed!!! This place delivered everything we needed at very reasonable prices (especially compared to the UK), delicious drinks. Great snacks. Lovely friendly staff providing great service and a beautiful view!! 10/10, like Arnie said, I'll be back!“

“highly highly highly recommended place for the dinner. we had spare ribs with rice and extra salad. it was sooooooo delicious, OMG
for dessert we shared a piece of cheesecake with a strawberry sauce on top. This cheesecake has a soft and creamy texture, with a light and airy consistency that melts in a mouth.“

“A great restaurant in Cascais for inexpensive, delicious food. The fish is very delicious. The employees are friendly, the service is fast, the atmosphere is very sweet, the prices are much more affordable than other places. If you happen to be there, be sure to stop by.“

“Great place for a bite and a drink by the beach, walking distance to boca de inferno. Friendly staff, different pastries and dishes available along with ice cream, drinks, even some souvenirs. Unfortunately no toilets available even if you consume something from them. And by being by the beach there’s no much options around..“

“Decent beer, great staff, good music..... didn't try the food.
All the punters were friendly and a laugh ,but you generally find that with people that like rock, metal, and indie.
Watched a few different sports on the TV, as customers requested.... lot's of nationalities friendly and fun.
Maybe it needs a few extra beer choices to nudge it from 4- a 5.
3 lagers ,1 really sweet cider and a selection of bottles.... Still, All hail the Bock ?“

“We like to visit this place when we want to eat Ramen and don't feel like going to Lisbon (where, of course, there is more variety than in the Sintra/Cascais area). The place is small, but it is well decorated and the service is friendly. The Ramen is well prepared and in good quantity (for example, it has a good portion of slices of meat, which is not the case in some restaurants). We also liked the Gyozas! We've been there several times and we're always very satisfied.“

“I was about to give 5 stars, which is extremely rare for me.
The food and wine selection were terrific, the service was good and we also sat very nicely (outside).
However, the bread was really not good and there was no dip with it. In addition, the sanitary facilities were not good. But the wine selection and the food (apart from the bread) were top.“

“Pleasantly quiet place with a view over the dunes and the sea. In addition to the café, there are also cocktails and beer. The price is slightly higher than comparable other cafes. Popular with dog owners, water bowls are available for dogs. The parking space is shared with visitors to the dune hiking trail, so parking spaces can be tight.Anyone who uses the toilets has to be brave. In the afternoon/evening they look like they are at a motorway service station during the holiday season.
Parking: The parking lot can get full when there is a lot of activity on the dune hiking trail.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible from the parking lot.“
“Fora das rotas turísticas o que já por si é bom. Parece que estamos numa aldeia no interior do País. Fomos bem recebidos e servidos. O bacalhau à lagareiro, embora muito demorado, estava excelente! A repetir numa próxima passagem pela zona.“

“Located in Paredão next to Duqueza beach, the proximity to the sand is an added advantage. Prices are a little high and in terms of parking in the summer it is almost impossible given the crowds on the beaches. It has an excellent terrace facing the sea.“
“This is a hidden gem in Cascais! Staff are friendly, atmosphere is lovely. Drinks are v good. But, most importantly, the food here is so good!! I had a starter and main course and couldn't say 1 bad thing about either. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked, v tender and tasty! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone ?“

“It is a good place to go with friends after a long day and have some beers or cider. When we went there was live music (rock style and similar). The atmosphere and decoration of the place are very good, although the place is not too big (it has two spaces: a first space at the entrance where the bar is and a second, more reserved space near the bathrooms).“
“Stumbled across this bar while out exploring the area. Friendly efficient staff serving a fine and varied selection of drinks and ales. We opted for a couple of the pale ales which we drank while people watching. Definitely return on our next visit to Cascais.“

“Charming and welcoming restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal and relax with friends or family. The service is very friendly and efficient, as is the location overlooking the sea. It is the perfect combination for a meal with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly atmosphere and makes the Escotilha restaurant an excellent choice for eating in Cascais.“

“Cozy atmosphere, simple and modern decor that combines perfectly with the food served here - everything simple, everything excellent.
Everything we ordered was great, from the prego em bolo do caco, to the stuffed mushrooms, to the breaded cheese balls with bacon - even the sautéed vegetables were excellent (this is a neglected accompaniment in most restaurants).
I totally recommend it, for the food, the service and the atmosphere.“
“Arriba is an absolutely breathtaking wedding venue! As a photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing weddings here, and it’s always a fantastic experience. The stunning ocean views and elegant setting create the perfect backdrop for unforgettable photos. The team at Arriba by the Sea is incredibly professional and accommodating, making sure everything runs smoothly. The service is impeccable, and the food is delicious. If you’re looking for a gorgeous coastal venue with top-notch service, I highly recommend Arriba!“

“View and vibes were AMAZING.
Sangria and potato skins were divine.
Portuguese Steak and Grilled Octopus were quite good. The Pumpkin Fondant was to die for.
Service was a bit slow but friendly. We did not, however, enjoy being put on the spot and asked to give a good review and mention our waiter's name.
Otherwise, it was a lovely evening.“
“Once again, we had an excellent meal and service at Visconde da Luz. We often bring visitors there, and to a person they are delighted by both the quality of the food, and the outstanding hospitality that the staff consistently brings to its guests. Their cataplana is magnificent, truly world class. I guarantee that you’ll want to return after having dined there once.“

“Great experience at Cascais Marina. Pleasant and relaxing environment. We stayed on the terrace, but the interior appears to be very cozy. We ordered 3 starters which were delicious and just right. For main we ordered 2 burgers and a sirloin steak. Despite the size of the nail, I was surprised by its satiety capacity. It was very juicy. We intend to return.“

“We tried the two dishes of the day for lunch and they were very delicious. Rice with seafood and fettuccine with salmon. Highly recommended. In addition to a bottle of green wine, which is always a good idea. All this with fantastic views of the beach.“

“Goed eten, we kregen de John Bull steak en de garoupa aangeraden door de gastheer. Wij hebben hiervoor gekozen omdat dit “de beste steak/vis van de stad is”. En hij had groot gelijk. De vlees met sausje was fantastisch! En vis ook erg naar wens!
De gastheer van vriendelijk en leuk in gesprek met ons en de rest van de klanten. De obers waren ook fantastisch!
Wij komen hier zeker terug! Dit is geen toeristenval! In tegenstelling tot de buren hadden zij wel nog de Portugese taal op de kaart met Portugese gerechten!“
“We love going there! We are customers almost every Saturday! We always stay on the terrace! We are always very well attended to! The bitoque is excellent! Super well seasoned with garlic???
Wheelchair accessibility: On the terrace.“

“Ended up here by chance. Wanted to eat something easy and watch the European Championship semi-final. It may look like a standard tourist tent, but we had a surprisingly good meal here! Octopus salad, hamburger, pasta with parmesan prepared at the table and more. The staff is also friendly, especially a younger lady who speaks fluent English. Highly recommended in our opinion!“

“1. Drinks: Good beer, but extremely expensive. So expensive that I thought I was on a downtown pub in Dublin.
2. Service: the staff is not the kindest, but they deliver the orders well and on-time.
3. Atmosphere: it is amazing since they have live music artists playing during weekend nights and everyone, young, grown-ups and heldery have a lot of fun together.“

“Best seaside dining option in Cascais! All seats have a view of the beautiful beach and harbor and the food was so good that we went back twice! Highly recommend the breaded squid. As a peanut butter lover I was pleasantly surprised to find a peanut butter, caramel, and chocolate dessert on the menu. ❤️“
