I had a very bad experience in that place. I arrived and tried to get a drink at the bar and waited patiently for 15 mins . Once was my turn to order , the Bartender said that they don’t sell what I want , but the bottle was right behind him. Then I showed it to him and he said not selling it to you , then he said a very racist comment. I left the place right away and recommend to everyone that has some self respect to not step foot into that place. I didn’t think people can still act like that in this century.

Absolutely the Rudest Female Staff Member myself and my 5 friends have ever come across in the whole of Portugal and we have been to Portugal at least 18 times If you like to be Abused it’s the place for you to be They ought to Ashamed to call this an Bar IRISH The only thing Irish about this Bar is the Irish Price of Drink

1. Drinks: Good beer, but extremely expensive. So expensive that I thought I was on a downtown pub in Dublin. 2. Service: the staff is not the kindest, but they deliver the orders well and on-time. 3. Atmosphere: it is amazing since they have live music artists playing during weekend nights and everyone, young, grown-ups and heldery have a lot of fun together.

4. Then you will start doing the following, you will start asking everyone who enters for identification, in the same way you asked me. But taking your point, as far as I know, I don't need identification to order water. But that's ok, next time, I'll take my wallet when I go out at night, wherever it may be (p.s: I don't usually carry a wallet, to avoid the risk of being robbed).
1. I was kicked out for no reason and when I asked for a simple bottle of water, they sent me away. I don't know if it was because I was Portuguese among English people or not, but when I entered I was always looked at sideways, both by customers and workers, and the situation described above happened afterwards. I was very disappointed, I had already visited this pub 2/3 times in the past and loved the experience, but the situation that happened is inexcusable.
2. To respond to the owner's message, this situation occurred on 04/24/2024 after dinner, I am still disappointed with the incident and I hope that in the future I will be able to go there without being afraid of this happening again.
3. The person who answered me was an English gentleman (I think) with a bald head, who some friends of mine told me was the manager (I'm not sure if this is true). Anyway, the reason I want to go back is because I've already been to this pub without being served by that gentleman and I know the qualities and good atmosphere created there. To complement what I had said before, this same man kicked me out of the pub, since I didn't have identification with me, and I, even though I was over 18 years old, asked why he didn't want to serve me a Guinness. I understood the worker's point of view and asked for a water, since you don't have to be 18 years old to ask for a water. As a result, I ended up being expelled, but I already explained this part above. I hope I can get back there with this situation resolved well.
