A restaurant that is bothered by the presence of a customer who has been there longer than the greedy owner thinks cannot be a good place to be. Treating a frequent visitor badly is stupid. Place I won't go back to and I don't recommend. He became a tourist trap. Nice strategy from the owner. Unfortunate!!!! Today I was waiting for my wife to have lunch (eating at a table of 2 and with several empty tables around), but there were so many approaches with the intention of making me uncomfortable, that when my wife arrived, I gave up on lunch, leaving my drink halfway and I left. Everything guided by the owner who was having lunch next door and who didn't even have the courage to expose himself to this situation. He left the attendant with this very unfriendly and unpleasant job. I even felt sorry for the girl. The girl herself had given me the ok when I arrived and asked if I could wait for my wife for lunch.

Got fried shrimp taco, which was in menu under “to share” section for 9€. All we got was ONE taco smaller than a palm of your hand. And you are supposed to share it???
Fried cuttlefish were also like eating shoe sole. Not worth money spent at all. Please double the prices but give us something eatable.

I arrived super stressed because I was looking for somewhere to eat on a summer Sunday, after all, there aren't many decent beachfront options in that region. After walking around for a long time looking, I ended up getting a table quickly at EMMA and I was very well served by the attendant called Mariana, a super friendly Brazilian. He calmed me down with kindness and served me perfectly. He suggested house specialty starters, always asking for what was needed. We ordered two salads which were ok, nothing special or extraordinary. The salad lacked a little dressing and the fried cuttlefish was accompanied by a very greasy mayonnaise sauce, but everything was as good as possible. I have to emphasize that Mariana's service made all the difference in the experience as a whole. Even in the scorching heat and with the restaurant full, she had a smile and friendliness.

I was here yesterday and today with my daughter and I have to say I have never experienced such good service! We rented 2 sun loungers with umbrellas for €40 for the whole day. The guys are super nice and helpful. And the service when it comes to drinks and food is great! The price is reasonable and the rubbish is regularly taken away! Ashtrays for smokers are provided. They are not pushy but always ask questions politely. Muito obrigado!!!!!

Excellent experience dining at Emma for lunch yesterday! There was a mixup on our reservation that the team immediately worked to resolve, which wound up being a nonevent because it was so lovely to enjoy a leisurely lunch with their delicious sangria. Their leek soup was incredible and the fresh salads (the shrimp salad and the tuna poke) were excellent. 10/10 customer service and dining experience!

Hello everyone, I would like to tell you about a place in Lisbon, a beach with top quality sun loungers that can be found in ST TROPEZ de Lisboa, "LE EMMA" a fun beach, we drink, eat and good atmosphere, I rented a deckchair with parasol and Mr DJOGO my waiter and assistant, helpful in every way, welcomed me directly with a smile, the real one, I am in the profession of what we call "Horeca ", it's no longer what it was and the EEENFIIIN, I found the friendliness of yesteryear and I was positively surprised that Djogo spoke French fluently for a pure Portuguese, the contact goes well.. .this beach is of a superior level, comfortable deckchairs with a very large parasol and tablet for eating there.
Well I made some (lunch burgers), always the same thing except that here we serve you a BLACK ANGUS STEACK Burger 200 gr, hey yes ladies and gentlemen, accompanied by fries, classic sauces but not in the very special burgers where you will find bacon, LETTUCE, tomato aioli, cheedar and 2 nice slices of what they call "pickled cumcumber", more simply 2 pretty slices of cucumbers/pickles which have not fully matured, a delight. He knows about Django the orca, we talked about cooking the meat, I wanted it blue and hot, it's quality meat all the same eh!!.he offered me a "-" as they say in the jargon. I got it.
Well I know cooks, in this profession the basis is to be able to cook meat according to the customer's request and believe me that is not often the case, here yes, perfect,
The well-established place between Estoril beach for car racing enthusiasts and Caiscais, the "THE" tourist town where you will find everything, souvenirs, original sardine boxes galore, even surprising things. My menu finally with big Burger Angus 200gr, fries and 3 Big Beers cost me 27€, obviously leaving a good tip, place, touristy it's normal and the deck chairs, umbrella 25€ per day and not half day like this is often the case, comfortable I fell asleep there twice, good background music, in June I recommend it, not too many tourists from all over the world not to mention our English and German friends. .(sic..) and the children are much less present for a perfect rest.

Here I am already on Thursday, I did my little tour of the beaches so easy and cheap by train from Belém, the top of Lisbon count 1.80€ for the easiest to understand metro in the world?? And a return trip to the beach costs €5.70. Here the metros cost less than a loaf of bread (Brussels). Always allow between 1 hour and 1 hour 40 minutes to get to a seaside resort in the center-south-east. best.
I highly recommend Portugal for 5 to 7 days, Lisbon in particular because we are at the top of this beautiful city and all descents take us to the playa. Thank you EMMA, THE STAFF AND THE COOK???

Beautiful little restaurant right on the beach with indoor and outdoor seating. I had the Bacaulau a Bras which was excellent. Paired with very good Alentejo white wine while watching people in the beach and boats in the harbor I truly enjoyed my time there. Wait staff was highly attentive and very polite. They were fluent in English and had English language menus.
