Charming and welcoming restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal and relax with friends or family. The service is very friendly and efficient, as is the location overlooking the sea. It is the perfect combination for a meal with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly atmosphere and makes the Escotilha restaurant an excellent choice for eating in Cascais.

Good was alright I expected more from such a beautiful location with many good reviews I expected better, I had a bacon+egg burger with a side of fries the fries were underwhelming, they were poorly seasoned but that wasn’t much of an issue because with the great service I was provided salt, the fries had little taste and my wife said she hated them, I found them decent but towards to bad side. The burger was also decent the meat was a bit overcooked and hard but had good flavour the buns were great and the egg was very odd the egg was very watery and had a weird taste but the yolk was amazing, the bacon was great too a bit hard but not in the crunchy way but was still quite good over all I had a decent meal but I expected better overall I do recommend this restaurant but I hope to see some improvements

Excellent restaurant and very allergy friendly. I mentioned what we needed to avoid at our table and they went through everything we ordered to comment on safety. The manager even came out later to confirm not to eat one item on our ticket. The seafood was superb, we especially enjoyed the octopus and codfish. Be sure to order bread to sweep up all the garlic flavored olive oil in the dish.
