Best pastry I've ever eaten here in Portugal, I got bacon and mozzarella and my husband had meat and egg and they were both delicious!!! And the service from Caio and Jamile were exceptional to make the experience incredible, super attentive! Quick service, congratulations to the whole team! O escondidinho de carne seca estava delicioso. No entanto, como o restaurante estava cheio, a comida demorou imenso para chegar. Havia apenas dois empregados de mesa, o que resultou em algumas falhas no serviço, como esquecerem de trazer a bebida que eu pedi e os talheres para o meu amigo. Apesar destes contratempos, recomendo o restaurante fora da hora de ponta.

Luckily we only stopped here for a coffee. The place smelled of fatty food. We had a coffee earlier in the day in the marina which cost less than 2 euros each but in this place we were charged 2.50 euros each for a small black coffee and a small white coffee. When I queried the cost ( I live in portugal and a black Americano coffee cost between 1 to 1.5 euros normally) the cashier just said its what it was , when i asked to se the price list I was refused. I know its not a big deal ,but it put me off the place. The attitude is all wrong . I expected this street cafe/ restaurant to be a bit less touristy than the marina or the town restaurant strip. I'm sure the food would have been OK but I would rather walk the extra 150 metres to the restaurant area where there is plenty of choices and a wide variety of dishes

We were not well received, if there was space it was unnecessary to comment that we didn't have a reservation, that we have to reserve, etc..etc... The chicken was poorly fried, we asked for it to be resold and it came back poorly fried. The rest of the snacks were very good. The employees don't seem happy, it's a very serious environment. It was our 1st and last visit.
