De octopus salade was goed op smaak, maar wij waren alle 4 van mening dat wij nog nooit een taaiere octupus gegeten hadden. 3. De half opgegeten octopussalade werd afgeruimd zonder te informeren waarom het voor een deel niet gegeten was en het stond 'uiteraard' op de rekening. 4. Bij het bestellen van de zeebaars hebben wij gemeld nog even open te willen houden of wij aardappelen of friet als bijgerecht wilden. Het werd zonder verder overleg met aardappelen opgediend. 5. Wij wezen op het voorgaande en bestelden alsnog friet. Dat stond later als extra op de rekening. 6. Ik bestelde zoals altijd mijn koffie met een tot driekwart gevuld kopje. Het werd tot het rand gevuld gebracht, wat een ondrinkbaar slappe koffie opleverde. 7. Ook daar werd niet naar geïnformeerd bij het afruimen. 8. Bij het afruimen werd een bloemlezing van de lachten aangehoord met de opmerking daar goede nota van te nemen als enige reactie. Alle niet eetbare of drinkbare items bleven op de rekening.

First off, have to say I've been travelling to Portugal for over 40 years, have property on Lisbon coast and I'm a Portuguese citizen living abroad. To start with the good.....location is wonderful and the table staff were fantastic! A++. The hostess was not accommodating and found her very rude and short but given how fantastic the table staff were I would rate the overall service as a 4/5 because of the table staff. The quality /freshness of seafood has been declining in Lisbon and Algarve areas particularly, over the last 5 years. However, a recent visit to Marisco na Praca in Cascais Marina was particularly terrible. The seafood was not fresh, the fish on display was days old, gills dark brown and eyes were very cloudy. What arrived at our table did not taste fresh either. When I asked the gentleman working the fish counter whether he thought the fish was fresh he replied with "yes, of course" which is what bothered me the most. Anyone, with reasonable experience eating fresh seafood could tell how poor the quality was. For those travelling to Portugal, do not assume that all seafood is fresh. With the increase popularity in travel to Portugal over the past several years the quality has declined and I've watched tourists happily consuming and overpaying for below grade quality. Do your homework.

Fantastic seafood restaurant located on the 2nd floor of the marina. Great concept of picking your seafood from the ice display and cooked to perfection. Certainly the views are just amazing and worth a visit just for that! On the pricier side of restaurants in the area as well.

Can’t speak on the food, since we were unable to actually get a table. Lady at the front misled us, and told us we could sit on the patio and receive “practically the same menu minus a couple things.” She said we could look at the menu and decide if we wanted to eat there but would keep our spot in the cue. So we reviewed the menu, there’s nothing on there but ceviche and finger food. When we went back to the lady, and told her we decided to wait for a table inside, she had removed our name from the cue and already had 4 groups in front of us in a span of 2 minutes. She was extremely rude and we ended up leaving. Snobby people who give Portugal a bad reputation.

The worst spider crab I've ever eaten... dry, empty, salty, anything but fresh. Be careful when choosing crab and spider crab, most of the time it is not fresh and has been cooked for a long time. Just to show off tourists who don't know anything about seafood.

Fantastic dinner! Very fresh fish, delicious and cooked to perfection. Perhaps one of the best fish dinners in my life. Superfine lobster, mind-blowing Tiger prawns and oysters that taste like the sea. Really very good desserts, impeccable service. Regardless of expense, a bill of around €80/100 each for four of us.
