Lunch at Restaurante Biscoito, a simple space with family service and homemade, excellently prepared food. The starter came with good bread, tasty olives and good dry cheese. The main course consisted of Black Swordfish Fillets with Tomato Rice and Salad. The fillets were quite good, well fried and not at all dry compared to the Tomato Rice, it was loose and tasty. I accompanied the meal with White Wine from Casa da Adega de Borba and sweetened everything with a great Homemade Biscuit Cake with butter and coffee. Super fast, friendly service and a meal costing around €19 per person.

When we arrived we asked if there was a table for six, the owner reacted as if he was doing us a big favor. The service is very bad and very slow; whenever we needed something we had to go to the counter, because they ignored the table; They only deliberately came to the table once, to ask for orders. They only provided 1 menu for 6 people.Bitoque and Bife da Vazia were the first dishes to arrive after a long time, and when they arrived the others were already cold.We ordered 3 dishes of Grilled Squid, and they brought a minimal amount of butter sauce. We had to ask 3 times for more sauce to be brought. I waited more than 10 minutes while the dishes were cold.After a long time after we had finished, the owner came to collect the oil and vinegar, “because it impressed him to see things like that”. It's a shame it doesn't make an impression on you to leave customers waiting, having to eat cold food, and with dirty plates in front of them.When he came to serve the desserts, he put everything in one place and told us to distribute them.The environment is very unpleasant, very noisy and congested.The seats are wooden benches, very uncomfortable, especially considering the amount of time we have to sit and wait.

Yesterday I tried to have lunch at this restaurant but they didn't even respond when I said good afternoon. As has been happening lately, the employees are terrible and rude. It's a shame because the food is reasonable.Given the reception I received, I left and went to have lunch at Ataska in Areia where I was well received without "bumps" from the employees!
