Today was Easter Sunday and we went to Viriato for lunch in the middle of our tour of Cascais.We were very well attended to, attentive and friendly, a lot of fun with my daughters.It's a traditional grill restaurant in Carvão and I remember Viriato from many years ago and it was great.Our dishes were very well prepared and very well made, fish and meat grilled over charcoal and it was delicious.We were very satisfied and even received Easter almonds with our coffee.Congratulations...
I ate the shrimp bread soup (açorda de camarão), a delicious typical Portuguese dish that is difficult to find nowadays because it doesn't really appeal to tourists.Tourists are welcome in any country, but please don’t judge our food on social media. Maybe Portuguese cooking is not for your taste because you weren’t raised eating it, but it doesn’t give you the right of talking badly about it. Can you imagine someone judging the food that your mother or grandmother...
Had a lovely meal tonight here. No complaints at all. Fair price for Cascais for 3 adults, €71. Olives, bread, main meal and 1 coffee. Will be back for sure. No problems with service, staff were great.
