We turned up for some lunch after reading some decent reviews. All I have to say is that I wish we didn’t. We ordered the clams followed by the seafood rice. Most of the clams had grit and didn’t seem very fresh, with a strange after taste. We were tired and should have complained then but 2 bites into our seafood rice and we realised we had made a huge mistake. The mussels were no where near fresh and crunched as if we were eating pure sand, the rice was under seasoned and mushy. We did complain and didn’t have to pay for the seafood rice although we did pay for the clams.
Within a couple of hours of eating there my partner was sick which lasted through the night. I had one bite less than them but still had an upset stomach and was in quite a bit of pain for the first two days of our holiday.
The waiter was lovely but it doesn’t make up for serving gritty, old seafood. Best to avoid this one unfortunately.

A great restaurant in Cascais for inexpensive, delicious food. The fish is very delicious. The employees are friendly, the service is fast, the atmosphere is very sweet, the prices are much more affordable than other places. If you happen to be there, be sure to stop by.
We searched randomly and had lunch here because it had the best reviews. However we didn’t have great experience there. the pork was not fresh, octopus rice and the clam were not the best either.

The Bacalhau Gomes de Sá was delicious. The Sangria is wonderful. Service was very good. It was game day and the waiters livened up the atmosphere when the Portugal team scored goals. Very happy.
