What a letdown!

If we were only sampling the ramen, I would rate this restaurant 3 out of 5 stars.

Service was quite anonymous. They never asked us once on how we liked the food.

The broth in my pork belly ramen was bland. My wife's tantan ramen had a nice and flavorful broth.

Big portions.

The rest of the meal was a disappointment.

The shrimp tempura was soggy and spongy.
My poor kids tonkatsu was dry, so we had to go to a burger restaurant afterwards to make it up to them.

If you want to give this restaurant a chance. Go for the ramen. Nothing else!

If you are looking for a ramen fix in Cascais, I would recommend this place. Big portions and very tasty. Good value for money.

We like to visit this place when we want to eat Ramen and don't feel like going to Lisbon (where, of course, there is more variety than in the Sintra/Cascais area). The place is small, but it is well decorated and the service is friendly. The Ramen is well prepared and in good quantity (for example, it has a good portion of slices of meat, which is not the case in some restaurants). We also liked the Gyozas! We've been there several times and we're always very satisfied.

The best katsu I've ever had! I ordered a Katsudon crispy pork, a crispy and perfectly seasoned batter. The service is excellent, the girls are very attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. Food is 10 points. Highly recommended!

Wonderful food, service and pricing and a gorgeous mural on the interior wall to round out your stay if you can't sit outside.

This place was amazing! I know I know you don’t come to Portugal to get Ramen but sometimes you just need a break from Cod or Seafood or Pastel de Nata :) the graffiti art was amazing! The service was very friendly! Plenty of seating inside and outside! It’s a block from the main strip so not too far away at all! The shrimp tempura and gyoza is a must have! I highly recommend this place for a yummy meal!!

Delicious ramen place. Small interior but very well decorated and clean. I stopped by unexpectedly, in a hurry and was left pleasantly surprised. The TanTan veggie ramen was incredible. All the right flavors and textures. The broth was one of the best I’ve had, a bit creamy with the perfect spicy touched I asked for.Also great service from staff.Will be going back for sure!

Is it the most authentic Japanese place in this part of Portugal? Not quite. Do they miss things as a result? Absolutely. But it is so close - and with service so keen - that it's difficult not to wholeheartedly recommend. The homemade noodles themselves are very, very good. Great rice bowls, too.
