Was a great experience & wonderful food. Sraff are very pleasant & helpful. If we ever make it back to Sydney we will be sure to go again. And it was a nice stroll from our hotel.
Hidden gem serving delicious fresh sushi and specialising in a large selection of gin. The owner is a gentleman, very professional service and the food is served quickly.

A bit disappointing. Had a lot of potential as the nagiri was delicious but everything else we had on the tasting menu was below average and expensive for what it was. Poor unorganised service, multiple wrong dishes, taking food away when still eating and all felt very chaotic. Better places to try for the money. :(
Food was really good - much more of the menu to explore on future visits. Staff very pleasant, helpful and cheerful. Comfortable environment. Noise level was a little high - sometimes hard to hear other people at the table. Love the Japanese - Peruvian mix of food. Will be back.
Dined on the Pre-Theatre menu. It was outstanding! Great selection of tastes. Just the right quantity and served to perfection. Staff are excellent - extremely helpful and pleasant.
A truly outstanding Tuesday night dining experience. Our other experiences with similar cuisine here in Sydney was at Warike. I consider this dining experience completely unique to the one we had at Warike, in only good ways! The Lima Degustation Menu we ordered seemed to focus more on peruvian flavours rather than the more Japanese inspired Shibuya menu. The servings were perfectly sized, every single ingredient was fresh, and presented beautifully, and I truly cannot fault one dish. The prawn, chicken gyoza were a standout 'a latin rice dish in dumpling form'. Truly genius. The Anticuchos, which are traditionally prepared with beef heart, were done with wagyu. While the flavour of beef heart is a personal favourite, this was done exceptionally well using wagyu too. For wines/drinks, we had the pinot grigio and an argentinian torrontes. Sabrina was an incredible waitress, guide and sommelier. We also ordered a beautifully presented pisco sour which hit the spot. The ambience was stunning. Set in a large industrial style building with high ceilings, the walls are adorned with colourful murals, florals, lit by moody lighting. Salsa music plays through the building which pairs well with the happy chatter coming from the customers. Each detail is thoughtfully addressed here. Service was outstanding. Again, Sabrina was everything we could ask for and we would love to be served by her again. Helpful, knowledgeable, attentive and perceptive to the needs of all customers. This restaurant is located in Walsh Bay, which makes for a stunning place to stroll after such a wonderful meal. We will be back!

Que viva LIMA! ?? the best Peruvian restaurant in Sydney so far. Everything is must try: ceviche, causa, pork (like the chicharrón with camote), anticuchos, lomo saltado, chaufa, arroz con leche....A new gem to walk in and never leave ??❤️
The folks at Lima are amazing! We love the atmosphere, the warmth of the staff and the food makes you feel round! Every dish is amazing and we love bringing people to try the fusion of Peru and Asia. We look forward to coming again soon!
Amazing food again. Took two friends that love good restaurants and they left impressed. We had a classic ceviche, some nigiris, wagyu with noodles, fish stew, tice pudding and a pumpkin desert. All of them were great. Drinks and wine were also fantastic. Thank you again for making my visit an enjoyable experince.
I highly recommend Lima Restaurant & Bar. The food was so delicious! The Peruvian - Japanese cuisine fusion is one of our family's favorites. You can tell they use the freshest ingredients. The Chef's skills and creativity is also deserving of 5 stars! If you've never tried Peruvian food before, this will be a soft introduction to the rich flavors and interesting ingredients Peruvian cuisine is well known for around the world and mixed with the very well established japanese cuisine, this restaurant is a win-win for all the foodies outthere. Service was amazing, Sabrina, the manager at the time, was superb, her attention to detail made us feel so welcomed. We had a blast!
