Without a doubt the best place to eat bifanas and soups, we are from Madrid and we usually go 3-4 times a year to Castelo Branco and without a doubt we go to eat. The father and son are excellent people and the treatment is very familiar. The girls who work there are super nice. 100% recommended

sad to say that i wasted calories in this place. food was tasteless and dripping oil all over, one of the worst bifanas in my life, which is clearly (bit weirdly) not aligned with all the other reviews. and oh, which restaurant doesn't have ice and lemon for a coke?!
besides that, service was poor and felt like they were doing us a favor. of course it was super cheap, but that's no excuse for the lack of quality.

Despite being a restaurant specializing in steaks and on Sundays they don't have soup, the staff was impressive as they found a vegetarian solution
The owner and his son were very friendly
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian option was adapted for us. A vegetarian sandwich, with fried egg, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Despite being simple, it was very good.
