I will never return to this restaurant. For me it's like it's closed. The owner of this restaurant has a blatant preference for certain customers. Obviously if other clients' money is better than mine, I'll go the other way. But I emphasize: the only person responsible for my dissatisfaction is the owner of the restaurant, no one else. The staff were always impeccable. In my opinion, the owner doesn't even deserve to have the good employees he has.
For anyone interested in knowing what happened, I explain:

Often, almost always, in this establishment it is necessary to wait a long time for the customer to be served at the barbecue counter to buy roast chicken and take it out.
On some occasions, after waiting more than half an hour, on the street and without conditions, when it was finally my turn to be served, another customer would appear, having just arrived and pass the entire waiting line, being immediately served. . The restaurant owner claimed that this customer had placed an order and therefore bypassed the entire waiting line. It happened that this customer took the only chickens that were already roasted and I had to wait at least another 20 minutes for more chickens to be roasted. In other words, a total wait of approximately 1 hour.
After this happened to me a few times, when I was overtaken in the waiting line, I also decided to make a reservation, so as to stop being overtaken. One day I went there to place an order for roast chicken for the next day, but the owner told me that they didn't accept orders. I replied that just a few days ago I had seen customers jumping through the waiting line because they had an order. The owner then told me that it was true, but that he had decided to stop taking orders and therefore it was no longer possible to order. So, I didn't order it. It wasn't possible.
The next day I went there, as planned, without an order, to buy the roast chicken, when to my amazement, it happened again, another customer surpassed everyone else, with the owner, shamelessly, claiming that this customer had an order.
Of course, I complained to the owner, who had told me the day before that he no longer accepted orders and was actually accepting them. He ran out of arguments. He couldn't answer me.
It became obvious: The problem wasn't whether there were orders or not, it was simply a preference for certain customers. It was obvious that there, some customers' money is better than the money of all the "suckers" we were waiting in line for. I don't accept being discriminated against when I pay like everyone else, so I'm going somewhere else, where my money is valid.
I was actually a good customer, every week I went there at least 1 to 2 times and sometimes I even had lunch there, in the restaurant room. For me, it's closed!

Very attentive and friendly waiters despite the language barrier but we still understood each other.We ordered cod, which, as the waiter told us, was a large dish and we still ordered cuttlefish and in fact we took half of each item home.Everything was very good including the dessert which was homemade.We leave Portugal with a very good taste in our mouths.100×% recommended and we will return......Of course
