We left Sertã full of enthusiasm for Castelo Branco, where the famous Mariqueira Paulo is located... According to the reviews available on the internet, one of the best in this beautiful city. The Lobster was delicious, we couldn't resist the Lavagante na Grill with white rice, accompanied by Percebes, Canilhas, Costa Shrimp so fresh that it still jumped on the plate, a delicious Sapateira straight out of the magnificent saltwater aquariums that line the walls of this establishment.. .These were our expectations... Unfortunately, none of these delights reserved for a Seafood Restaurant that existed in the Real Life of Albicastrenses was possible for us to eat as none of that was there... Desolated, we settled for a Grilled Sea Bass that we could have eaten with some facility much closer to our starting point. We accepted Friend Paulo's suggestion, who treated us to Bulhão Pato-style clams, cooked with margarine since good olive oil is (according to what we were told) more expensive. The accompaniment to the sea bass consisted of an stew with coriander but, like the olive oil, the flavored coriander did not reside there either as it was found further towards Aguas, land where the aforementioned, as well as the cucumbers and tomatoes wisely cultivated by the family members of the owner, they still have a palate, something extinct or in the process of becoming so, in Castelo Branco....
It was hot, the air conditioning finally made itself felt in the middle of the meal in a spartan environment. It would seem that all this would be a little expensive if it weren't for the clams saving the restaurant's day. After all, Mr Paulo knows how to make suggestions worthy of a Marisquera...

Very good experience....Mr Paulo is super.....it was really top....they found solutions for everything and good suggestions....we ordered a Solomilho or something similar.....very good.. .really...the sangria so my God...I recommend it....we were almost on time but it was still top service....
