Walking through Castelo Branco, we took a break for lunch. The recommendation came from the ticket agent at Jardim Paço Episcopal and it made a lot of sense to us. Very beautiful and cozy restaurant. We ordered a portion of farinheira, chorizo and black pudding as a starter, we had a jug of fresh house white wine (chilled) and water. Nothing bad, we ate the daily meal which was bean rice with fish fillets and they were excellent. If you don't eat starters or dessert, it's a pretty good value for those who are at work.
