Hotel Miracastro (Restaurante Miracastro) offers gorgeous views from the rooms and a very positive experience overall. The staff, especially the manager, waiter, and receptionist, are very friendly and speak good English. The rooms are cozy, spacious, and clean, with basic amenities, though the soundproofing is poor and noise from the restaurant can be heard. The breakfast could be improved, but the dinner with local goat is tasty, and the portions are large. The restaurant serves traditional Portuguese food in a typical setting, with attentive and pleasant servers. Guests highly recommend the "castreja" dessert with all the flavors of castro. While the service is nice, it can be slow, and the rooms lack decoration. The location is excellent, but some details like bathroom curtains could be updated. Despite minor issues, many guests plan to return.
