If you don't know where to take your kids for a nice burger for lunch, take them to Simples in Castro Verde! Best chicken burger I've ever eaten. Very good potatoes. Dessert chocolate cake with ice cream is delicious. Accountable prices. Thank you and good luck to you!

We are 2 adults and 2 16 year olds, who wanted pizza but when I saw a review of this restaurant with hamburgers we decided to give it a try. And I guarantee it was well worth it! Since the service was always worried about whether we liked it (most restaurants only serve us and we are from Lisbon) the burgers are something extraordinary ?? in the end the kids said "you can give a 5 star review" ? we are on vacation in Castro verde and we will definitely return to Simply

We visited this small establishment yesterday with our friends and received a very warm welcome from the owner/staff who spoke very good English. There's a wide variety of burgers on offer and all of us where very impressed with their taste and presentation. A lovely place which deserves its high rating..well done!

This simple but nicely decorated diner (love the tiles) was a pleasant surprise. Really some of the best burgers we’ve had during our time in Portugal.Very friendly and accessible atmosphere. The gentleman was patient with my poor Portuguese and allowed me to try and work thru it. Food was great, beer was cold and service was friendly. Couldn’t have been happier with our experience.The city (Castro Verde) itself is a nice stop in between Lisbon/Ribatejo and Algarve. Clean, multiple cafes, easy walking and great views.

Easily the best burger I've had in all of Portugal. The biggest difference is that use unfrozen fresh ground beef and make thr patties by hand, huge difference, other burger joints use frozen patties and boy can you taste the difference. Great service, nice location with ample parking, I am very happy.
