We love Linhares da Beira, but there is only 1 restaurant in the village! We wanted some homemade, typical Portuguese food! I'm glad 1 resident recommended O Taco to us! We simply love it! EVERYTHING was delicious and tasty! The feijoada (I'll cry for more...), the squid rice, the soups, the stewed lamb (divine!!!) and much more... We went all week! Everyone was very kind, we even liked the feijoada so much, they brought us more, without charging anything for it! We will come back for sure! The environment is also very pleasant! A welcoming place!

Een verborgen pareltje zo langs de provinciale weg! Heerlijk gegeten (beef on stone is aanrader) en prijs-kwaliteit is fantastisch! Klein restaurantje met ook locale gasten, wat de sfeer ten goede komt.

There were 4 of us at dinner. We saw some very abundant doses being passed to another table. We ordered 2 portions (€16 and €18) to start the meal. They refused to serve, with bad manners, a lot of arrogance and bad upbringing. They would only serve if we ordered one dose per person. They even said we could complain online... We left without eating and wondering what would lead the owner of an open house to treat people so badly and scare away potential customers. This had never happened to us before... Fortunately we found another restaurant where we could order as much as we wanted and we were served with the utmost kindness.

Exquisite kindness. They attended us after hours, we took a menu and they offered us a veggie version for my partner.
Very rich and abundant food. Super nice place, very very reasonable price.
Until next time!!!

A small but very atmospheric and cozy restaurant with a small but well-assembled menu. You will be welcome and the food will be delicious.

Let's say that the service is friendly, although a little dispersed or with a lot of distraction or lack of focus on the customer, but acceptable... The bread for starters is very good, although the side dish of olives lacks some seasoning... The mixed grill was highly recommended but it was not at all satisfactory... unfortunately I was not completely satisfied... there was dissatisfaction with the generality of the dish... the mixed grill was poorly served, the little rice that came with it was tasteless, a bit dry and half glued, the salad was little in quantity but it did the turn, the fries were in good quantity and quality. The meat ??? from the mixed grill came very very very dry, without fat and little flavor, it lacked some seasoning, moisture and flavor... The dessert, chocolate mouse is recommended, homemade and very pleasant and for the quality it exceeded expectations what may become a next business card, very nice coffee. Possibly the possibility of trying a portion of suckling pig next time, maybe I'll be more satisfied... But from the grilling experience it was ☹️☹️☹️ maybe next time it'll be better.

Disappointed with this restaurant which nevertheless looked local.... we were at the entrance, no one speaks to you, the restaurant was full, I asked for a table, the waitress told me that we had to wait, normal since it was full. Tables became available, but we were left at the entrance for a good 20 minutes, one moment we decided to sit down. We waited another 15 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink and another 10 minutes to get our drinks and another 15 minutes for the menu, even though there were locals who arrived after us and were served quickly ..... in short not good for foreigners ...... we will return there more
