"Dish of the day" for 4 adults (roast veal), where everything is paid separately,
We asked to change the knife, we were unlucky, with the knife or the piece of meat. Coffee without soul or flavor. We paid the total "emigrant" value of €57

Terrible, the waiter had a less than zero welcome, arrogant, grumpy and unprofessional, there were 5 of us and they only brought us one menu, I asked for other menus and he told me (don't worry, one is enough for you) the prices are too high for the food they serve and for the area. I will never go back there again

While visiting Chaves, we chose this restaurant for lunch, with 4 adults and 3 children. For starters, they had melon with ham, and for lunch we ordered steaks with mushrooms that would have been good if it weren't for the cold food that was served to us, portions that weren't that well served and, honestly for what they put on the table, we thought it was expensive. As children they are, they like to play and they accidentally pulled one of the tablecloths from a table that had absolutely nothing on it.
The boss had the worst reaction he could have had when the same children who had accidentally removed the towel were putting it in place, showing extreme arrogance towards them even though he justified what happened to us. Conclusion, we got up and left without asking for anything more rigorously, while we made the payment he tried to give a justification, which was not convincing.
We all have bad days, but you don't have to take it out on those who are there to give the money to keep the house open.
Definitely a place we won't return to.

Excellent Post. Perhaps the best I've ever eaten. Served with black-eyed peas and potato tortilla. An unexpected but quite surprising combination.
