An incredible experience from start to finish! Going to Chaves requires a visit to Biclaque. The restaurant is very well located, just after the Trajano bridge and has a very attentive team. The space is welcoming and has a privileged view of the kitchen, where you can see our dishes being cooked. We were given a detailed explanation of the restaurant's history and concept as well as excellent dish recommendations. We chose to choose: Smoked Duck Ham (starter), Rump Steak with oven-baked rice, Lobster and shrimp Risotto and to finish, Chocolate Tile. Everything was wonderful, the meat was juicy and tender, the risotto was delicious and the dessert was equally good.
I recommend everyone to pay a visit (or several) to this restaurant ?

From the first telephone contact, reception, welcome, table selection, menu advice, ambience, decoration to the quality of the food, this restaurant is fabulous! In 2024 it was the best dinner so far! A word to all the staff who welcomed me and two other friends, many congratulations, I will certainly be back. I recommend the duck ham or pea cream as a starter and for the main course the lobster risotto with shrimp is divine!! We chose not to order dessert but next time we will try it. It was a meal without wine or desserts, we paid less than €40, for the experience and quality of preparation it is a value that doesn't even deserve doubts and I recommend it to everyone!

We loved our experience at Biclaque. The service was excellent from the entire staff, namely Cristiana and Vasco who attended to us most of the time. Great options on the menu. For starters we ordered the house cover, the breads were fresh and there was a great olive tapenade. We tried the tasty alheira drying rack, with soft cornbread and a Bela Ilha vegetarian starter, which was also very good. For main, we went for lobster and shrimp risotto, excellent choice, perfect flavor and cooking, despite the higher price. The duck magret left a little to be desired. For dessert we tried the house's highlight, Irasshaimase, which surprised us by being more intense than we were expecting, so, despite coming in a small portion, it was perfect for eating for two. The restaurant has great options of wines from the region, at good prices. I believe that the final price of the meal could have been more affordable, but it was worth the experience.
Vegetarian options: Bela Ilha starter, super tasty and well executed.

Excellent treatment. Two of us had dinner. We had baked cod with puff pastry, vegetables, and mashed potatoes. For dessert, chocolate tile and a scoop of artisanal ice cream, coated with a layer of eggs and cinnamon.
