What a great little restaurant this is! Not easy to get a table but they fitted me in. Unlike menu places in Portugal in the winter the restaurant was really warm and comfortable. The food (I had pork medallions which were probably the best I’ve had!) was fantastic and the owner is just a great guy. Starter, main and sweet were all fantastic as was the wine,muscatel and the ‘local spirit’ No sore head in the morning either! ? Will definitely go back on my next visit to Chaves!
