I was advised by a friend, what I noticed was that the sauce was on the sweet side compared to the sauces I'm used to receiving, both in Porto and Lisbon, which are normally much more intense in flavor, even without spicy, establishment with pleasant atmosphere.
A friend, my partner and I stopped to eat a Francesinha during our weekend motorcycle trip. Very good food, very nice staff and also biker owners. We stopped again on the way back from our trip. It is highly recommended to stop at this place if you are on the N-106 route.
Friendly, there is room for improvement, but I think it comes from the boss that in terms of welcoming customers, if you are not a regular customer you will not receive special treatment. And the employees are frowning. The francesinha sauce is a “Dom Duarte” sauce and the fact that it is constantly heated does not convey confidence. I will think about whether I will return to this place.
