To start with the nice welcome the waitress wasn't very friendly,had an attitude, was arrogant ,took ages to bring the menu and after she told us to sit in a specific table , the cooker came over and asked us to move to a different table , so really rude staff there and showing lack of organisation/professionalism , waitress was slow serving as if she had no experience working in busy restaurants. They served 2 guys that entered the restaurant after us as if they were flirting with those 2 guys. The francesinhas were well presented but taste wise not really good, the sauce was tasteless. Then when we asked the waitress for the bill we also had to wait while the waitress was serving other costumers that stood up after our simple request to get the bill. Really awful service, I will not go back there, it feels like they don't want to work /serve costumers. Very rude staff . Also not many available food dishes to choose, very expensive food and not worth the price and they don't have Debit credit card payment option.

Nice decor in the restaurant. Staff are mediocre, service was slow. Asked for water twice and never got it but they still tried to charge us for it. The food was poor and overpriced due to quality. Only the stray dog that came begging seemed to enjoy Franceshina, I personally found the sauce to have a horrible taste and very poor quality meat was used. Overall incredibly disappointing and a waste of money.EDIT: it's the next day and my digestive system is not ok after eating at this place.Don't go here unless you're looking for a fast way to cleanse and/or lose some weight ????♀️?

The situation of the restaurant near the river is very pleasant....but the service is catastrophic!!!! The server is the head .... he gives the impression of being drunk! The prices are exorbitant for Chaves...he brings the dish but no plate?! We had to wait 5 minutes after asking him to bring one for him to come back! Suddenly cold dish....When the addition the prices do not correspond to what was announced ..... and in the wrong way ... dessert 2 € ... charged 3.50 € !!!! We asked for a buttered bread...charged twice..!!We do not recommend this place!Expensive....unpleasant....and dishonest.
