With a simple and humble atmosphere, A Tasquinha is a great place to try local flavors. The food is amazingly delicious, simple fare but it absolutely slaps, and is ridiculous value. Anyone walking past this place is doing it wrong. It's an inexpensive bar for a bite to eat. Don't look for something very elaborate. They offer toasts and small sandwiches with the fillings of your choice. Sardine salad made one customer emotional. This old-school café has good prices, good food, and freshly-squeezed orange juice. It's a perfect stop on the way uphill. They take only cash.
