Such a nice location, but if your phone battery is low, it is difficult to find a plug in the store. I saw only one in the whole place. The good quality is good but service is a bit slow,

Nice space, quality meat, the spaghetti was too “too dente”. At the beginning the service started out formal and I like it, but at the end of the meal it wasn't so formal anymore.

We really liked Natália’s professionalism and friendliness. It’s people like this who make a difference in the service and quality of restaurants!
Incredible cocktails. Very good environment for a good conversation.

On this occasion I sat on the balcony and it was great, good drinks and starters too
The attendant, a Brazilian, is incredible and was super diligent with everything we asked for.

It’s one of my favorite restaurants in the city!
I have visited the space for dinner with friends, romantic dinner and family dinner and I will say that it is a good choice for any company!
The service is always super friendly, helpful and quick.
I even usually order a pizza that they have since removed from the menu and it has never happened to me that they flatly say "no" - they always confirm whether the kitchen has the ingredients, and if so, they make the special request for me :)
Pizzas are the perfect size for one person! And the dough and ingredients are of immense quality and expertise.
I've also tried the lasagna and it was divine, nothing like "packaged" lasagna and with a wonderful sauce, similar to francesinha sauce.
In addition to the food, it also has some of the best cocktails in the city and a very reasonable wine list, with good references.
The space and environment is fantastic and unlike anything else in Coimbra.

Vegetarian options: There aren't many. Eggplant Parmigiana is frozen and forgettable. I sent it back. The pizza is good.

I stayed in the hotel downstairs and as I arrived in Coimbra around 9pm and didn't know anything about it, I suggested that we eat at the restaurant upstairs, of which I had already seen images and reviews on Google and it didn't seem bad... .
The space is a large room, in a converted old house that could have everything to be an incredible space. It has an eccentric decor but with sub-mediocre finishes that leave something to be desired as soon as you enter. My feeling as soon as I walked in was that I was going to leave something to be desired...
It started with assistance from a young man, who had to confirm availability for two people, in a space that was practically empty. Even though there were many spacious tables, we were placed at the last table in the restaurant, next to the pantry, with a spotlight from the ceiling shining into my eyes so much that I couldn't even read the menu.
With low expectations, we skipped any type of starter and ordered a pizza, a ragu, a somersby and a cocktail.
The pizza couldn't even be considered pizza dough, it was more of a type of naan bread, on a plastic tray and a sheet of parchment paper. On top there was pesto, raw spinach, sun-dried tomatoes clearly fresh from a canning jar and whole walnuts. The effort was minimal, a base of pasta and pesto with raw ingredients thrown on top. Pizza is one of those things that never fails due to its simplicity, not being able to finish a pizza is a very bad sign....
The second dish we ordered was a ragu, of which the name should have governed, it would be more of a Bolognese pasta that looked like it had just defrosted. A type of cannelloni cut into strips, with minced meat and completely drowned in water. They should rethink the concept of what a ragu is...... the service was so fast that it was impossible for the food to have had any type of preparation on the spot.
We felt so unhappy that we weren't able to give the house even €1 more for the coffee and we left.
Unfortunately for us, we had paid for breakfast at the accommodation, which we discovered was a service in the same space. It didn't turn out any better.....
We arrived at the space in the middle of service time, at 9.30am, the space was completely empty, we were the only people and while we were eating they were cleaning, mopping the floor, a vacuum cleaner left in the middle of the way and we had to step over it to access the table, cleaning the kitchen walls with the food underneath.
Breakfast is displayed on the work benches where meal preparation and lunch and dinner services are carried out.
As for breakfast, it was one of the worst I've ever seen, €7 for unpeeled fruit in a basket, two types of bread, puff croissants that smelled like packaged croissants, half a dozen slices of Flemish cheese, ham and bread in a plastic box need cleaning, tap water in a jug, a jug of processed juice, a jug of tea, cubed butter, an opened liter carton of milk, a coffee and cappuccino maker with milk and instant coffee, boiled eggs that Due to the temperature, they came from the fridge and I was afraid to eat them, "do it yourself" pancakes with dough in a jar, watermelon and yogurt in cups covered with cling film which, seeing the movement, I was even afraid to eat... even the plates to serve ourselves. It was so small that it could barely fit a croissant in it.
A disappointment

Beautiful restaurant with many settings for dinner as a couple or in large groups. Very good service and delicious pizza. We ordered wine and cocktails.

The food was good. It's a bit more expensive compared to other places in Coimbra but the atmosphere was really nice and you have a nice view of the open kitchen. One staff was a bit rude, but all the others were very nice and helpfull
